  2. Hi, I have a pretty high success rate of fixing ps3s with the yellow light problem, but I could try and fix it even if it's slightly different. I've been charging £30 but obviously wouldn't charge if it didnt work. Thanks, Joe
  3. Hi, Anyone need help with the PS3 fault, yellow light of death? my son has successfully repaired his own and those of a few mates, he would like to offer a repair service for £30- if the repair doesn't work there is no charge- we can collect and deliver in the Sheffield area, PM me if interested.
  4. I was at City '67-'72, reading these posts has brought back lots of memories-good and bad!
  5. I had a female then got a male a couple of weeks later, the male was much bigger and bullied the female , she stopped eating and eventually died!, we tried everything, keeping them apart, clear partition but nothing worked once she had stopped eating. Male is fine but doesn't like being handled- I think maybe he was just always aggressive by nature, but he is very entertaining and beautiful.
  6. I have a parking space behind the Scout Shop on Trippett Lane, they charge £80 per month and keep a waiting list if they have no spaces available
  7. Sheffield Carers Centre does have a parent carers group which meets monthly at The Centre in town, anyone interested can check the website http://www.sheffieldcarers.org.uk or ring us on 2788942. There is also a Parent/carer conference type event taking place on 21 February at The Mega Centre, and an online forum which is by invitation ,but any parent carer who would like to join can be invited by ringing the carers centre (2788942)
  8. Does anyone know of any playschemes or activities which are running in the summer holidays specifically for younger children with special needs - I know about SNIPS but wondered if there is anything else?
  9. The event at Lowedges today was really good, everyone who came really enjoyed it, hope we'll see lots of carers at the Gleadless Valley activity day next Wednesday-come and join in with chairobics, Indian Head massage, aromatherapy, reflexology-and a delicious lunch!
  10. So I take it we can count on your support Grahamfff?
  11. I work for Sheffield Carers Centre and we are organising activity/training days for carers in Lowedges and Gleadless Valley. The first is at The Michael Church on Lowedges Rd on 20 March 10.30-2.30 .There will be information about The Carers Centre, benefits advice, information about sitting services and various therapies such as aromatherapy, reflexology , chairobics etc.The day will include lunch and it is free to carers and related professionals. You will probably see posters around advertising the day. The Gleadless Valley events are on 26 March at Gleadless Valley Methodist Church and 15 April at Newfield Green Tenants Hall (all 10.30-2.30) with similar activities and information. We would like to know roughly how many will attend for catering purposes so would be grateful if you would contact us-Telephone Jan on 278 8942 or email jan@sheffieldcarers.org.uk
