  1. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/london-attack-parsons-green-bomb-investigation-latest-dover-arrest-isis-surrey-searches-armed-police-a7950816.html
  2. "Refugee foster boy', 18, arrested at Dover port over Parsons Green bucket bomb 'was first held by police two weeks ago but freed' as detectives raid home of the caring pensioner couple who took him in" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4889860/May-raises-level-critical-ISIS-claim-Tube-attack.html What seems strange about the whole thing is that social services would allow an 89 year old to foster a difficult teenager, who clearly had problems. Especially after a case last year of a couple fostering refugees when one turned out to be 22 and a jihadi with child abuse images on his mobile.
  3. It could have been a lot worse, sadly 30 people including children injured, it was meant to cause carnage but thankfully only partially detonated. "The 'Mother of Satan' device used in yesterday's bombing reportedly contained the explosive triacetone triperoxide (TATP) and was packed with nails" http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/parsons-green-terror-attack-police-11182862
  4. Now there's a thing, can't get that image out of my head
  5. It seems Sarah's been speaking up for herself. http://news.sky.com/story/floppy-left-fear-racist-tag-on-sex-grooming-says-labour-mp-sarah-champion-11016956
  6. All those actions are punishable in law. Correct me if Im wrong but words are only punishable if they have caused distress. The guy on the tram was a nasty piece of work but as far as I can see the woman he was spouting his drivel at was not in the slightest bit perturbed by it and continued to film him threatening to upload the video to You Tube.
  7. Cyclone, You don't have to be a parent it's a personality trait............ Paula I agree with all you've said, however I do feel that the number of people who display this sort of behaviour in public is few and far between, the way I see it is we have more important issues in society today to worry about.
  8. Of course it doesn't. But it goes some way to explaining his behaviour..........if that's the case of course.
  9. Cyclone, not good to be in angry parent mode all the time chill out a bit : My post is about my ex neighbour, in answer to a now deleted Mafia post.
  10. The guy living next door to me who indulged every now and then and went on the occasional rant, offending all, had major problems. His wife told me that he suffered abuse and neglect in childhood. It seemed to me that the only way he could get any kind of attention, just like a naughty kid, would be to go off on one, any attention all be it negative was attention to him. Did he deserve a kicking?
  11. I have no idea what it means in modern day terms. The word seems to be thrown about willy nilly at anyone who disagrees. George Orwell saw the same problem in 1944 when he wrote, β€œIt will be seen that, as used, the word β€˜Fascism’ is almost entirely meaningless.”
  12. I agree, I've seen and heard much worse, nothing new here. I've lived next door to someone of that nature for many years. Meak as a kitten without drink but a complete embarassment to his wife when he'd knocked back a few and he wanted to enter into a discussion. Funnily enough he never bothered me, I knew how to handle him, although I can see how some people who aren't used to it can take offence. It's nothing new, just another harmless drunk, interestingly when he wanted to debate his behaviour was quite calm it's only when he was thrown off the tram (or was that his stop) that he wound it up a gear, probably because he was leaving the situation and felt that he could get the last word in without any comeback, one upmanship you know, nothing new at all.
  13. and so are all religions, they are based on the premis that life continues after death. or could there be something in it: https://www.thesun.co.uk/living/2123380/researchers-claim-that-humans-have-souls-which-can-live-on-after-death/
  14. I can't see how it would work, there could be a few pile ups on the slip roads with drivers building up speed to enter the motorway, if there are three driverless hgv's passing at the same time.
  15. Rap, I prefer to hear instruments, any instruments, drums, bass & guitar. ---------- Post added 18-08-2017 at 20:23 ---------- Although I quite like rap metal...Rage against the machine are pretty good
  16. Yes, its a fear of Islam. Although I have to say when I first heard the guy talk he was very angry at what had happened, I just didn't expect to hear what his beliefs were. Hopefully he's of the minority.
  17. Islam also needs to reform, there are those that take the Koran literally, like the man who rang LBC this morning saying that he agreed with the chopping off of limbs as a punishment for stealing. http://www.lbc.co.uk/radio/presenters/maajid-nawaz/maajid-muslim-caller-says-he-respect-sharia-law/
  18. This is so so sad, my thoughts are with the victims and their families. When is this nightmare going to end?
  19. I agree, I also think these monsters should be called 'underage rape gangs' men who prey on underage girls, and as Mister M says its now turned into an industry. β€œIn times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act" - George Orwell. Oh and by the way Mafya that is not my quote
  20. "Sarah Champion was sacked by Jeremy Corbyn over Sun article on sexual exploitation of white girls" https://www.politicshome.com/news/uk/home-affairs/policing/news/88302/sarah-champion-was-sacked-jeremy-corbyn-over-sun-article . In the article she said Britain has a problem with British-Pakistani men raping and exploiting white girls, maybe she should have said issue instead of problem, when it becomes a problem I don't know.................
  21. Yet again brilliant programme by Maajid Nawaz and once again he nails it. "fear of discussing this because of backlash leads to hysteria increasing" ---------- Post added 17-08-2017 at 10:35 ---------- Sarah Champion is being used as a 'scapegoat' after warning of cultural link in child sex cases, critics claim http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/08/17/sarah-champion-used-scapegoat-warning-cultural-link-child-sex/ Trevor Philips, the former chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, told The Telegraph: "I am absolutely gobsmacked, this is not the Labour party I know, even in the darkest days I don't remember people being asked to stand down for trying to represent their constituents, which is what I think Sarah Champion was trying to do. "We shouldn't have to have an argument about free speech, what this feels like is what we used to call democratic centralism in the Labour party, in other words Stalinism".
  22. Maajid Nawaz one of the people prepared to discuss this is talking about this on LBC at 10am http://www.lbc.co.uk/
  23. This is not surprising, it makes me really sad, in my book Labour are done for. Sarah Champion was speaking out against the vile gang rape perpetrated by predominantly Pakistani men against mostly white girls, a vile racist crime to which Labour have just given the go ahead for this vile industry to continue, Ann Cryer was silenced decades ago by the sexist mysogyny & ignorance that governs Labour, when she tried to speak out against this very same thing, nothing new then, Labours speak no evil policy continues, and once again the victims are left unheard.......
