  1. great effort pete. we watched off limb lane and got hale!
  2. Anyone been? Menu looks interesting but never tried it.
  3. Oh no! BAD! Does the Dove have a twitter account? I can spread the word on our blog thing if it helps to get more signatures.
  4. Cheers. That makes sense. Presume then that you can grab a beer from HH and drink it. Does HH have its own seating? (When we popped in, we didn`t stay long - one of our girls really didn`t like the place).
  5. Yet another plug. Home this Saturday vs Cleethorpes and a win will almost certainly guarantee a play-off spot with 3 matches left. Exciting times!
  6. Have fun all. We`ll be watching, probably up near Limb Lane.
  7. I liked it. Funny old mess of a place. Looked like a grotty rock pub but seemed to have lots of club / urban type stuff on quite often.
  8. I don`t think Hop Hideout had any choice in having to move from Abbeydale Road but yes, a big loss for us in the SW. And agree that their Kommune location ain`t ideal. Thinking of visiting on Saturday night but it`s still such a grim part of the city, and not particularly convenient before a gig at Record Junkee.... Interesting tweets from the good folk at Food Hall questioning the huge amount of funding that has been given to Kommune whilst they receive next to nothing. And, if ordering food, do they bring it to your table or is it wait and then try and grab a seat?
  9. Anyone know of any? Ideally in SW part of the city.
  10. You never know - Sheffield FC are still looking a decent bet for the play-offs.....
  11. I think it`s improved a fair bit recently, particularly on a Friday evening. And the Clarke Carlisle stuff is good promoting some excellent local music that most folk don`t know about.
  12. Popped in yesterday but didn`t stay for long. We`d got the kids and it was really busy. Looks interesting though. My god that part of town is looking bad though.
  13. Driving past tonight.... my thoughts. It will happen, there`s plenty of space and the Transport Ground building will be demolished....!
  14. The St George`s Park ones are top notch. We`ve often attended sessions at Graves Park and played matches at the one over at Thorncliffe.
  15. Anyone been recently? Looking at a child`s party there but I`ve not been for years. Is it ok?
  16. A few supporters at the match last night were chatting about worriedly but nowt actually from Sheffield Club yet.
  17. I think that there`s a growing trend to expect schools to teach EVERYTHING and get great exam results.
  18. Saw her play several times when she was at Club before Blades were given the franchise / leapfrog and she moved clubs. Surprised , sad and very disappointed. However, why would Renee Hector say this if untrue? And, if it`s false, surely SUWFC would stand by her? Well, the FA seem determined that the WSL etc mirror the men`s game....
  19. Another reminder - Club doing well still and two home games next. Tuesday vs Carlton and then Frickley visit on Saturday. Won on Saturday so Club are currently 6th but need to keep the momentum going with 7 homes wins in a row so far..... £8 in!
  20. Yeah, there were a fair few from the big clubs.
  21. Plenty of space to make a great facility for both sports, need not overlap. 500 at match today - season high!
  22. I`m guessing / hoping that the actual pub will remain - surely it must be listed....?!
  23. I`m looking like a DNS at the mo. Broke my ankle running on Blacka Moor whilst training for Grindleford Gallop. 🤕
