  1. Anyone know anything about this company? Reputable?
  2. Chris - you're welcome to join us. We're meeting at my house, Monday 4th @ 6.30pm. Call or text me on 07817 539140 for my address. Neil
  3. Sunday night fine by the Dogster - Johnny Cash? Coool, only 3 chords 6.30 is fine. As I have Stuart & Ryan's phone numbers, I can ring you so we'll know how to recognise each other! Keith, you happy to post your mobi? Neil
  4. Guys Agree with Kebab. The pub's called the Malin Bridge though - it's very close to the Malin Bridge tram stop (end of the line). I can meet anytime this Thursday through to next Monday. Can all post what nights they can make it & let's meet up. Neil
  5. Keith Can you give me a contact number? Will ring round to get this moving. If we don't want to go for the pracice room, my house could be an option - am in Stannington. Neil
  6. Hi Keith - great, that's 4 of us. Think we'd better stop here before it turns into an orchestra! Being new to the Forum, not sure how we progress this now - can we contact each other any other way than using this thread? Neil
  7. Hi Kebab69man - Nice one! Let's get something sorted. What's your free time like? Dogman
  8. Hi GreenAlien - cheers for reply. Sounds great & another Forum member is interested too. Let me know what kind of free time you have to get together. At the mo I'm looking at Monday evenings, Thursday any time or weekends. Dogman
  9. Are you, like me, striving for that elusive barre chord & would prefer someone of a similar standard to practice with? Ideally looking for 2-3 others for (weekly?) get together to practice & keep each other motivated. Am 47 (male) but young at heart & not into blues/folk - trying to get head round stuff in chord books (Oasis/Travis/Soul Asylum/any decent sounding, reasonably modern music that doesn't include 10 chord changes per bar....) Be warned though - am a beginner! Don't think musical tastes are too important at this stage but for references sake, into emo/indie/rock/punk & acoustic stuff like Dashboard Confessional, etc Post now!!!
