Hi all, A new year brings new jobs to get done - looking for a garden landscaper to renew brickwork edging the lawn, renew path, steps, (tastefully) slab a currently grassed area and make a new concrete base level for one large new shed where two smaller (rotting) sheds currently stand on different levels on a stepped garden. Possibly building and/or erecting a new shed too (although I do have an alternative source for this). Any recommendations please? Could do with someone who will actually give us a quote rather than just have a look and disappear, never to be heard of again! S6 area. Thanks in advance, Stujo

Hi All We've used Andy Rowland of Rowlands Property Services for loads of things in our house and he comes highly recommended - he's done a complete refit of our bathroom including wet room floor, underfloor heating and all tiling and plumbing. We've also had him decorating our living room and hall. He always does a top quality job and turns up when arranged, can't recommend him highly enough!

Hi Laura, great, glad I could help. Keep your eye out for me if you make it down there (although I won't be taking my lad for a couple of weeks due to a back op, someone else is taking him for me which is really nice of them). Apparently I bear more than a passing resemblance to Alistair McGowan (not my words, but it could be worse) and usually have a blue regatta waterproof on as it's often soggy! All the best Stuart

Hi all My little boy who's (only recently) 6 has been going to Rugger Eds since June and he's loving it. There are a few classes now and it seems really popular, with good reason in my opinion. It's run really well, is very inclusive no matter what size/age/ability and teaches good manners, ethics and skills. It costs £6 for an hour session or £10 for 2 children. You can buy kit through them too if you want too - some kids do have it some don't and wear other stuff, it doesn't matter. My lad won't miss it for the world now. I have played myself in the past but not in Sheffield so don't particularly have any links with either Sheffield club, but Abbeydale does seem a great set up (can't speak for the Tigers as have never been, but sure it's good too). If you want to know anymore (independent) about Rugger Eds let me know otherwise Dean Mabson who runs it and can be contacted through their website (just do a quick search) will obviously help you. Incidentally have played Dronfield at both 1st and 2nd team levels in the past and it's a superb club with a great and friendly atmosphere whether as an opponent or not, great memories of playing there. Cheers Stuart

Building new or replacement porch

Hi I'm new to this forum so go gentle on me! I'm looking for a builder/brickie who comes recommended to renovate our porch. The brickwork has shifted slightly over the years so needs repointing/fixing and generally the porch needs renovation - any recommendations would be gratefully received (as I've not had much luck to date and the only quote I managed to get was extortionate - they obviously didn't want the job!). The work is in the Loxley area. Thanks for any help! Email stujo@blueyonder.co.uk
