Hey, I got married there 4 years ago and they were great! Guests did feel that drinks were expensive tho. As for noise the bride and groom get offered to enter the hotel by a entrance next to the canal so its the entrance to the room that you've hired so can't see it being a problem! Not sure about car parking, sorry.

Some airlines do in flight baby cots. Never used one but have friends who have and said they are good. Might be worth getting in touch with the airline and asking x -
Hey! My daughter is currently at Chantreyland day nursery on Buntings nook. Shes been there coming up to 2 years and loves it. We are very happy with the care that she gets and she is coming on so much. I work shifts, different shifts and days every week and they are great with that. I know some nursery what have fixed days and hours which is difficult for me. Its a small nursery and all the staff know every child and parents and the staff are always happy and smiley. Also the food smells lovely (never seen it, but leave hungry as drop her off just before lunch!). Hope this helps

Hey, We had our past holiday locations (that we'd been on together) for our table names and the top table was where we were going on honeymoon. If we had been on holiday with someone at the wedding we tried to sit them at the table named where we went with them. Also a friend of mine had important dates, so there top table was the date they got married, and they had there dates of birth, when they met, got engaged, moved in together etc etc.

Think it's there to stay! It's a crash barrier, no someone who spent years testing them! Only testing tho, they didn't design it! -
Thank you for your replies. I've been back at work for a few months now and we have a great nursery that we all really like. I can't fault them at all. Thank you again

Where do you get the best substantial burger in Sheffield?
CLK1 replied to peakma's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Thursday night £6 burger and milkshake night at Bishops Cafe at Norton Lees! Home made and they are lovely, and for £6 it's win win!! Best burger I've had for a long time -
Hey, not sure where S6 is but there's a great baby massage group at Bankwood primary school on Blackstock road S14 on a Monday morning from 9:30. There's no waiting list and it's free as its sure start. The lady who runs it is great and the people who go are lovely. We're been going nearly a year now and still really enjoy it. Sorry if it's miles away from S6, lived in Sheffield all my life and still don't no all the post codes!

Thank you for your replies, I've popped in today and it does look a lovely place. However with the age range of our guest list it wouldn't be suitable as some will be happier upstairs and others happier downstairs. And with it being a party I would like every1 in the same place! So back to the drawing room! Thank you again

Hey, Its my daughters 1st birthday coming up soon and I've googled 'play centres for babies' and one of the centres on the list that came up was Play Space UK. Its at Ranmoor and the website looks and it sounds good, but I can't find any reviews and don't know anyone who's been! Have you been? Did your little one enjoy it? Thank you x

Bad outcome re neglected cat found S20 Sunday
CLK1 replied to sweetie's topic in Sheffield Pet Owners
What a sad story, I'm so sorry to hear that this has happened. If the owner didn't what the cat and didn't care about the cat, why couldn't they just say let someone else take it on. I hope they have sleepless nights thinking of what they have done and I just hope that they don't get bored of there new cat. Well done to the people who worked hard to look after this cat, i'm just sorry that it was such a awful outcome. -
Thank you for your replies! I think I'm going to look into Chantrywood on Buntings Nook as heard lots of good reports and worry about the shifts problem after! xx

Hey! I've got to go back to work in April next year (Boo!) and my daughter will be 11months old. Does anyone have any good reviews on a good nursery around S8 please? I also have a problem in that I work shifts and it is difficult to get the same shift pattern every week so I need a nursery that will let me change my daughers days with a few weeks notice! Any ideas will be great, Thank you xx

After a very long 3 and a half weeks and thinking the worse I am very pleased to say that Pebbles came home this morning! We have a posh cat flap that had been locked and could hear it clicking to unlock, openned the door and there she was! She's very skinny but looks well other than that! A very good early christmas present, the safe return of our muched loved cat! Thank you to you all who kept an eye out and Thank you for your kind messages xxx
