Thanks for all your replys. We have made a complaint with YW so will see what happens.

We are needing a plumber to give there professional opinion on a burst pipe, basically we have always had low water pressure, Yorkshire water put a fix in place which inceased our pressure by 70/80% 2 days later we had a burst pipe in the bathroom, causing a amazing amount of damage. This is currently going through the insurance company but as we feel we are not to blame for this they can look to recover costs thru YW and that would mean we won't have a massive premium increase next year! Would anyone be able to do this? We appreciate it cannot be written as a definate cause but a potential cause would enable us to pursue this further. If you can help pm me please Thanks

Hi, i have a 12wk old little girl and we go to a group on thurs morning on carlton rd, there is a baby area and toddler bigger area( i also have a 3yr old) this is a nice group 9.30 -11.30. Also forbes road do a baby group on tues morning, 10-11.30am. Be nice to see u at carlton rd. Louise

I do remember the 4 month phase (and the rest of them that will come along!) My LO didn't sleep thru until at least 1yr, although breast fed for 5 mths. Do what u need to do at end of day. x

have you thought about trying him with some baby rice/mashed banana! (Before anyone starts I know you should wait until 6 months old) but it never did my little one any harm and may just help with the sleep. Other than that i would be tempted to just try giving him water in the afternoon and see if he is really hungry or just thirsty, he may just want a drink then be ready for a big milk feed at bedtime.

Yes, there is a new bar/food place, in what used to be Bluwater! Been in for lunch and food on the cheaper side and beer prices ok. Hopefully they will have tables outside now weather nice again, had many good after work drinks out there a few years ago.

why is it that when you really want a baby ( no 2) that everyone seems to get pregnant at the drop of a hat apart from me!! I know it will happen eventually but it doesn't stop me getting a bit upset when yet another person tells me they are expecting!! Anyway just wanted to get it off my chest!

this was a really great event, we got there at about 1130, everything was just setting up stayed for 3 hours, there was craft, wall climbing, hula hoops, football, it was great, lots of things to keep a 2yr, 3yrs and 5 yr old entertained all free!!

hi, me and my little boy used to go to the buggy brigade, it is a really nice way to spend the afternoon, you go for a 30 mins ish walk round park then go for coffee/tea and biscuits while little ones play. I met some really good friends through this group, Only stopped going because of work.
