Haven’t you got a red button?

Yes but I was just saying that the BBC only care about the PL teams, plus it wasn't on red button yesterday when I pressed it, it was 5 Live I think. Last week there was a piece on line saying both BBC and ITV had ignored the non league sides in the FA cup for a live match.

I thought the BBC were all about inclusivity so why is Final Score not on for the 72 teams not in the PL.

  3. You can always tell when there are only one or two PL matches on a Saturday, the BBC don't show final score on BBC1 or 2 they shove it on the red button. There is only 2 games in the PL today, one early game and one evening kick off. Shows how bothered they are about football fans unless of course you follow a PL team, had there been some 3pm kick offs then no doubt it would be on either BBC1 or BBC2.

    My sentiments exactly Anna.

When you look at the crowds in the card shops this time of year there’s no indication that the trade is dead or indeed moribund.

I think Royal Mail should reduce the price of Christmas stamps as a sign of goodwill!😀

Or maybe they could get the scouts post back like they used to do for local post.

  11. I just wish commentators would stop coming out with stupid comments such as, " he was just about onside" he was either onside or he wasn't. Then there is the "he cleared that off the line" when in fact it was almost on the edge of the 6 yard box.

I'll just add, it seems daft that the advice is not to use bus lanes.

Is that because the emergency vehicle will likely use them?

I remember reading about a driver who pulled into a bus lane to let an ambulance with flashing lights on go past and they got a ticket, I think it was in London.

  15. Just been reading this article below where it says Christmas and Easter excluded from National Trust's ‘inclusion' calendar,  the calendar reportedly features Ramada, Diwali, and Eid, but not Christian festivals such as Christmas and Easter.

In a statement, the National Trust defended its decision which it claimed was designed to supplement their annual programming.

Furthermore, they wrote that it was part of their desire to make sure the National Trust appealed to everyone rather than a minority.

Are they saying that Christians are now a minority? I wonder how this will affect their calendar sales, seems one way of antagonising people.
