On the night of my 18th we went in town and in the Museum, one of us was only 17, the landlord said I hope you are all 18 , less than 10 minutes later 2 police officers came in and straight to us. My mate who was 17 showed him his student union card which said he was 18, the sergeant was happy but the young copper said yes but they can get what age they want put on these cards and took him outside and took his details, It didn't stop him going to the Genevieve with us though.

I was just reading a post on FB about the Ship Inn on Shalesmoor, someone commented saying it was where they had their first legal drink. It got me thinking about where I had my first legal beer which I had in the Moseley Arms on West Bar, the pub has long been closed down like so many of the old pubs in Sheffield. Where did other Sheffield Forum users have their first legal drink, is the pub still there?

You could replace "Sheffield" with almost any other named city or town because all these councils see motorists as cash cows.

I contacted 3 of my local councillors Oct 2021, I received one reply the other 2 never even replied to my email, needless to say that party will never receive a vote from me.

There was something I saw the other day saying that Berge might be going for £10m because it is the last year of his contract and they don't want to end up with him going for free when his contract ends. Whether true or not I don't know

I know this is an old thread but just lately I have been fancying an oatcake with my full English but no idea where to get some. I used to get them from the bakery stall in the market at Crystal Peaks but they stopped doing them ages ago, anyone any idea where I can get some from?

I am the same I often wake around 3am and struggle to get back to sleep for a couple of hours. After about 3 nights of waking at that time I usually manage to have a decent nights sleep till about 6am, then next night waking at 3am starts again.

Just read the article below that HP are going to block their printers from using any ink cartridges other than official HP cartridges, apparently it started in March but people are only just starting to find their printers will not work without HP cartridges after a firmware update. They say it is to protect the integrity of their printing systems, so nothing to do with the difference in costs between the inks then and increasing profits? I wondered at first if it was a delayed April fools day as it is on MSN as they publish articles several times but it was posted today. Could this be a case of HP shooting themselves in the foot, I suppose the sales figures for the next couple of months will reveal if they have. If this is going to happen then what will be next? Cheers for that Ghozer, I unlinked Spotify put Amazon as default music, when I asked for a song Alexa said you need Amazon music unlimited to select specific songs. I have now put Spotify back as the default music, I have also created playlists on Spotify but again they will not play unless I open Spotify on the laptop and click on the first song in the list and it then plays the whole list. As I said I was at my friends yesterday and the Dot played whatever song it was asked to play. It said the song title followed by on Spotify then played it, she has the same basic Spotify as me, we checked and the settings on both our Spotify apps and they were identical.

I was at my friends yesterday and tried their Dot, I said play a song and it said playing on Spotify, no mention of radio and it played the song I asked it to play, they don't have premium just the same version that I have. I tried that it doesn't work, if I ask it to play a specific song with Amazon as default it says you have to have Amazon music unlimited which you have to subscribe to.

Today's line up at Oxford 2 changes to the last game, although doesn't seem to make any difference who plays lately they haven't managed to get a good result. Something needs to change, a win is a must even if it is a dour 1 - 0 win. Lose today and results go against them then I think it is goodbye to automatic promotion, Plymouth and Ipswich are just getting the results while Wednesday look to have gone to pieces. To think only a few weeks ago there was talk of getting over 100 points and keeping more clean sheets.

Free, same as my friends, it plays some ads at various times. Like I say if I open Spotify on the laptop and click play on Echo it does no problem.

I have an echo dot, I set it up as instructed and set Spotify as my default music, if I open Spotify on the laptop, open my play lists pick a song, it plays the song then plays the playlist on the echo dot. However for example, if I say Alexa play Leonard Cohen Closing Time, Alexa says "Closing Time radio from Spotify" and plays something else i.e. just now it played Donovan's Catch the Wind which was then followed by Tennessee waltz. Whatever song I ask for it says the song name followed by radio from Spotify and plays something else. If I say Alexa play a song on my friends echo dot it plays the song I ask for, we checked the Alexa settings on the app and they are identical does anyone know what I need to do to get it to play the music I ask for?
