The legal definition of a society is a number of persons united together by mutual consent, in order to deliberate, determine, and act jointly for some common purpose. Am I obliged to be part of such a society? I have absolutely no problem with you being a member of "society" governed by a so called "representative" government from parliament. A government that will tax on average over 52% of its members income, and who with blatant disregard of Common Law (The law of this land) and more recently human rights, will on a daily basis pass policies and acts of parliament to further penalise and profit from your membership of its society in every conceivable way. I was born in England and I intend to retain my Common Law rights, I owe it to my ancestors, to keep alive that which they fought for, that which the Queen upon her coronation swore to uphold but has failed to do. As Great Britain is a common law jurisdiction, under said Common Law what obligation am I under, to pay a society for which I do not belong, for services that I do not get or indeed require. I thought you could only buy shares in public corporations. Private corporations such as "government bodies/departments etc" I agree are different, but they are still corporations nonetheless. The corporation "Ministry of Justice" previously the Home Office is listed on dnb, and had a county court judgement served against them on the 16th of December 2008. According to the business report the year the business started was in 1600. The Ministry of Justice is trading as Magistrates court etc.

I myself am not a big fan of Wikipedia when it comes to anything involving "legal" terms. I am wary when such information is offered for free. I came across a website, and found an interesting article, apparently a former councillor has discovered that the council he had previously worked for, was not a "local authority" but a private corporation ultimately run for PROFIT! I later went on to read, as the council is a private corporation, and not a "local authority" without a contract, there may be no obligation to pay them for services. I am still looking into this; I found lots of interesting information on this site http://www.tpuc.org and consider it well worth some of your time. After doing a little research of my own, I was surprised to find both Rotherham and Sheffield council are both private corporations! The implications of this are astounding. I remember reading somewhere that British councils have invested over a billion pounds in the recently collapsed Icelandic banks, in light of the above previous information my question is this, Where did that money come from, and why was it in offshore bank accounts in the first place? WHAT IS GOING ON? Am I obliged to pay Rotherham council for services that may have already been funded by other means? If this appears to be the case, where does the money we pay the council go to?
