Yes, anyone's welcome to join us, and you can find out what films we've seen in the past by looking back through this thread. We see a lot of 'alternative' and foreign films with the odd mainstreamish one thrown in here and there.

In an almost unprecedented piece of forward-planning, those of us who came along to the movie group last night agreed on a film, a date and a time for the next meeting. Well, we could say we'll see Invictus if it's on a a suitable time on its TBC days, and if not, Crazy Heart. What does anyone else think?

Of those, I'd most like to see Invictus (inspiration, Morgan Freeman and international rugby - what more could we want?), Crazy Heart (I think it would make an interesting comparison with The Wrestler, which we saw a few months ago) and A Single Man (I love Christopher Isherwood and it's based on his book).

I can't do the Thursday, so if I'm coming it had better be Monday.
