I have a battered old nissan micra and the heater has stopped working. Not too much fun driving round in this weather with the windows open! Can anyone recommend a good reliable garage in the Broomhill/Crookes/Crosspool area? Ive never had to go to a garage before and i dont want to get ripped off.

Yeah its the one by Safeway on London Road. I thought it was a bit weird that the address was Eccy Road but thats what it said on the advert.

I think the offer is they get a 50p a day more but they lose a day in lieu and either one or two days sick pay. Whatever it is it works out as they lose exactly the same as what they would gain. I am reliant on first buses to get to work. I am currently walking 6 miles a day and i have to say i am finding it not so bad. I am thinking of ditching the bus pass altogether. I fully support the drivers. Why should they accept working for a company who treat them with no respect, I wouldnt.

Anyone been there? I was thinking of trying it and i just wanted to know what people thought.

I love Sheffield. I have lived in Birmingham, Aberystwyth and Huddersfield before here and this is by far the nicest place. The town is nice, the shopping is good, the nightlife is good, the people are generally friendly and the uni is excellent. I am very happy to live there and in September i will be very proud to be a student at Sheffield.

Is crasher on this weekend? I havnt heard anything about it. To be fair tho if i was going out this weekend i would definately be travelling out of Sheffield.

Can anyone recommend a good driving instructor? Either city centre or Millhouses area would be ideal.
