  1. I wondered if it was to install removable metal sections to have access in case of major accidents??? I spotted the sign saying the works will last 72 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they reinstate the third lane on the viaduct, or it will still be a bottle neck once complete.
  2. Hi, does anyone know what time the road closures are taking place around Penistone road North? Have had a quick search on council website but can't find the info.
  3. Yes I totally agree, the new road surface stops short of the Himalayan humps, leaving a gap for the wheel to drop down before going up. Probably not noticeable with a larger car with bigger wheels, but I sure notice it in my small car.
  4. You must be talking about Nourish, see their facebook page for details https://www.facebook.com/nourishrestaurants I have tried some of the food and it is really nice!
  5. Hi, I am after a glass grinder for stained glass / copper foiling work, does anyone have one for sale, or know where I might find one around Sheffield?
  6. I have a 20 year old honda with a Vtec engine (Vtech is a manufacturer of kids electronic toys LOL), which has done 135k, and still runs great. Like other people have said, as long as it has been regularly serviced, you should be fine.
  7. The old Stanley Tools factory on Rutland Road has an excellent flat top roof location, looking over a vast area of Sheffield. Not sure who owns at present, but worth a try!
  8. Hi, there is a highlights program on ITV4 tomorrow at 4:30pm, or on ITV1 on fri at 2.35am
  9. Electronic signs just before the viaduct this morning stated that is was closed to high sided vehicles, but regular vehicles can still use it.
  10. Not seen the soups, but Asda stock the Ainsley cous cous varieties.
  11. I think these people do a similar thing to what your offering, might be worth a look for research http://www.chefs-at-home.co.uk/
  12. I too have noticed these and wondered what the reason for the reduction in speed limit was for!! I think they appeared on days when there were high winds, is it possible they were anything to do with lorries been buffeted about and it only being 2 lanes? I am actually thinking of having a burger van put on the tinsley vidauct, there is loads of space now for people to pull up and park and admire the views.
