Average speed cameras j35 to j32??
bondy replied to jwspinxs's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I wondered if it was to install removable metal sections to have access in case of major accidents??? I spotted the sign saying the works will last 72 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they reinstate the third lane on the viaduct, or it will still be a bottle neck once complete. -
Thanks for that!

Hi, does anyone know what time the road closures are taking place around Penistone road North? Have had a quick search on council website but can't find the info.

Yes I totally agree, the new road surface stops short of the Himalayan humps, leaving a gap for the wheel to drop down before going up. Probably not noticeable with a larger car with bigger wheels, but I sure notice it in my small car.

Hi, I am after a glass grinder for stained glass / copper foiling work, does anyone have one for sale, or know where I might find one around Sheffield?

I have a 20 year old honda with a Vtec engine (Vtech is a manufacturer of kids electronic toys LOL), which has done 135k, and still runs great. Like other people have said, as long as it has been regularly serviced, you should be fine.

Help needed! Student film roof location..
bondy replied to Ell_Parker's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
The old Stanley Tools factory on Rutland Road has an excellent flat top roof location, looking over a vast area of Sheffield. Not sure who owns at present, but worth a try! -

bondy replied to alchemist's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Electronic signs just before the viaduct this morning stated that is was closed to high sided vehicles, but regular vehicles can still use it. -

Temporary 50mph speed limit on Tinsley Viaduct.
bondy replied to Ginner's topic in General Discussions
I too have noticed these and wondered what the reason for the reduction in speed limit was for!! I think they appeared on days when there were high winds, is it possible they were anything to do with lorries been buffeted about and it only being 2 lanes? I am actually thinking of having a burger van put on the tinsley vidauct, there is loads of space now for people to pull up and park and admire the views.
