  1. That's what happens Moonbird - 1 person is banned so they get the dog in the partners name. It's all wrong but that's the system I'm afraid
  2. So so sad sorry for your loss, run free Harvey xxx
  3. That's very useful for me too as I live in Rotherham now
  4. I'm pretty sure Ian at spire vets in chesterfield will see birds as I enquired about mine. I dread the day mine ever ends a vet as he's a biter :-/ fortunately I've had him for 10 years n he's always been pretty healthy. Good luck
  5. I'm not taking all of mine. Can't u leave that one at home?
  6. Kate what puppy do u have? Ill be at dogs unleashed on Sunday with my 16 week old pup too
  7. Which is exactly why I was asking what I am supposed to do with it, ie what's right n wrong. Not expecting someone else to take responsibility. But thanks yeah, I'll make sure I have a word with my animals n tell them not to c**p so much!
  8. What can you do tho apart from trapping? I'm on their Facebook page n auction site
  9. Have u still got these? I have a friend with ducks, they may take them on
  10. I'll have a look into Rotherham dog rescue then thanks. Not so sure I'm bothered about walking them, I have my own lot to walk, but will happily muck out kennels n stuff
  11. Is there anywhere in Rotherham that needs volunteers to work with animals? I don't mind whether it's dogs or cats. I can't do long hours as I have a young puppy that can't be left for too long (unless I could bring him along) but I'd like to feel I'm doing something while the kids are at school x
  12. That's disgusting! I hope you manage to sort things for your poor cat
  13. Any news on this ca being chipped? My sister lost hers about a year ago, he was chipped
  14. Is the sheffield gingerbread group at St Marys church no longer going?
  15. Hi, this is an old thread so does anyone know of any current puppy classes in Rotherham please?
  16. Please contact the OP using the private message system
  17. Thankyou. My wonderful vet who gave him his first injection at 8 weeks old, came to our home to give him his final one. He was surrounded by those who loved him most, munching on biscuits and being the centre of everyone's attention to the very end. It was very peaceful, the vet and her nurse were amazing. He's left a massive hole in our lives, my first German shepherd, my childhood dream. Less than 24 hours and I miss him sooooo much xx
  18. We haven't even got 10 days now. The wait is horrendous. The vet is hopefully coming out tomorrow:(
  19. I feel your pain. My 8 year old GSD is to be put to sleep in 10 days time. He has CDRM. Devastated doesn't even come close xx
  20. I wouldn't let him have unsupervised contact. Your son doesn't know him. Could you ask your son if he would like to see him and then arrange supervised contact if needs be? Or maybe start by talking on the phone? I wouldn't want him to see him at all if I'm honest but these things have a habit of coming back to bite you in years to come, if you deny him the chance to see his father. Good luck x
  21. I find Sheffield forum very useful but now being in Rotherham, would be good to have the same sort of info here
  22. I know this is an old thread but I checked BDR online, seems inactive. Not found anything else on google. Does anyone know of any other Rotherham forums?
  23. Sorry I've never heard it. Hope everything is ok x
