  1. And big thank you to you all Had the called from the vets, He said the force of the attack gave a clean break halfway down her leg, just like if somebody had done it with a knife a clean cut. He said she will not require amputation, but will need to be put in whats sounds like a brace. She might be small but she is a fighter half wirefox half lakeland and gave the dog a few scratches that drew blood on his eyes. I hope the police find the owner ive got a nice big bill he should be paying out for.
  2. Just come back from the vets where my puppy is been treated over night, there is a big chance she will lose her leg today. I was walking her on the lead up shirecliffe lane on the other side of the road there was a bull terrier on a lead, we was in the middle of the road, my dog sat and i waited for the owner to walk past us as this dog looked big and nasty, the next thing i new the dog shot across the road and picked me puppy up in his jaws and threw her around like a rag doll. At this point the owner was shouting at me like it was my fault, i kicked the bull terrier and a guy across the road came over and grabbed the jaws of the dog, then it let go. I'm not sure who the person was who put his hands into the jaws of this dog but he might have saved her life. the owner ran off down the street shouting that it's never done anything like this before. Well after going to the vets where we have just been billed £795 plus if she does need a other appointment to be amputated there will be a other £1500 on top to paid. This dog needs to be found because the owner had zero control of it & Also had this big thing on a retractable lead, If its done this today then whats to say he will not attack again and kill. the dog was black and tan, the owner was young teen around 18-21 floppy hair in curtains a bit grungy looking , police have been called, and now we wait today to see if our dog will need her leg amputated
