Hey, me and a friend have built a basic search service to find restaurants in Sheffield. It's a Facebook page and all you have to do is send us a message, our chatbot will then present you with options. Simply follow the options and it will suggest restaurants for you. It's just something we are doing in our spare time as we'd like to give Sheffield restaurants a bit more visibility, there are some cracking ones out there! Please give it a try. Hi all, i'm currently on a design project and I would like to engage with sheffielders or even people who just visit the city. How do you experience the city? What in your opinion makes sheffield a great place to live, work, study etc? What makes sheffield unique to other cities in the UK primarily in the north compared to the likes of manchester or leeds for example? Just a few questions to get the ball rolling, and of course if you don't particularly like the city feel free to give feedback. Thanks

We are playing in the toughest most competitive league in the world. anybody beats anybody week in week out. If thats part of your case to oust him then every manager in the championship should go to. ---------- Post added 07-05-2013 at 14:05 ---------- The football under Megson was FAR WORSE, and we played equally as bad in most of the games in league 1. The fact of the matter is the championship is a much much tougher league, and it takes time to build a team (squad) that can play attractive and winning football. I think Karl Robinson would be a great manager for the blades but im sure Wolves would be looking at him, and with their parachute payments still coming in and imo a better squad he would more likely go there.

His job description last season was to get us promoted, all of us thought that would probably need to be via the playoffs and he delivered automatic. This season his job description was consolidation (Mandaric did set a 3 year plan afterall) and he achieved this. His budget for this year i believe will be much healthier and he should stay on.

5 minutes to hand before I head off to the club to celebrate a perfect Monday. The club rightfully should make ticket prices as cheap as possible. Its the least they can do for what pretty much every blades fan will see as a disapointing season (to this point).

id like to see a penalty shootout between utd and brentford in the final then. could last longer than the previous 120 minutes played

Personally i cant predict whos gonna go up via these playoffs. cant predict who the finalists will be, i think playing the 2nd leg away will probably benefit united though.

not confident 1 bit, i feel barnsley and peterboro have a much better chance of winning than we do.

Only thing that is absurd is the fact that games arent kicking off the same day/time including ours. if watford dont beat leicester away on friday night hull are up. In turn that could affect their mindsets for their game against barnsley which no doubt swings in barnsleys favour which affects the rest of the teams at the bottom

Could be guaranteed championship football before we kick off next weekend, heres hoping thats the case. Today wasnt amazing, was a lacklustre start and they somehow managed to squeeze in a goal, thought ipswich were a poor side in all fairness. Results went pretty much our way which is nice. 4 point cushion and a couple of goals better off in the goal difference department aswell.

the pitch surely favours the home side heavily with them knowing how to play on it much better. id take draw, could really do with results going our way tonight.

Was a dissapointing game of course, but i came back chucked on the gladrags and went and enjoyed my night nevetheless, and guess what... the result of sheffield united wether you had won, lost or drawn would have had no baring WHATSOEVER on my mood as being brutally honest i COULDN'T care less. went to the game, first half was dross from both sides, it wasnt helped by the referee giving a fee kick every 2 minutes which wasnt helped by the leeds players acting life fairies. We didnt learn from the blackburn game, came out and played even worse for the first 20-25 mins of the 2nd half and deserved to go behind, was garbage. In the end we should have gotten a point, rattled the post, kenny made a great save then lita should have buried his effort. Poor performance bar the last 15 minutes. Saturday is MUST win Also a p*ss poor home crowd, they have the fan base but the owners are killing it for them

Id say weve more or less gotten to grips with how to win games in the championship, if it wasn't for those 2 horrific runs of form, (dont think any other team that has been on a run that bad twice!!) who knows where we could be

I thought we played well with the exception of the first 25 mins in the 2nd half. HUGE result and the other games finally went our way for a change. Really need to make this game in hand count and pick up the win on tuesday vs an out of form millwall.

5 points dropped vs bristol city now in added time. lets hope that doesnt cost us. Would have took a draw before the game though, it was more of a must not lose game. Blackburn this weekend however is must win.
