The problem with Sheffield is that we are too laid back for our own good. No one flies the flag for the City. In addition to this one of the major down falls over the years is we havent had a football team or any sporting team in the lime light - this in itself generates multi-million ££££'s - which also means further investment for the city in residential housing, inner city developments including retail and commercial units. The fact is Sheffield People are not arrogant nor have a chip on their shoulders like those from Leeds or Manchester

Its interesting to actually hear how everything works, from the people that know, appericate it! In terms of the variation of Djs, we do see different Djs/ groups playing at plug and the likes of steve angello and axwell have never seen plug so rammed on the saturday nights for the electro scene. Personally I would like to see a night which is held solely for producers, headlining a number of producers who are not renoud Djs, and I bet their fees wont that expensive. I know some dont do gigs but there are plenty that do! and adele thanks for the info! -

Im gonna have to disagree - i saw Kate lawler in ibiza at eden - although she doesnt engage with the crowd much her mixing was spot on and her tune selection wasnt bad either. but i suppose it could of been there soundsystems wicked in there probably made it that little bit easier. But thinking about it im glad she didnt look up much - she looks like she been chewing a wasp -

Stealth at notts do the same thing and at the same price, opening up the whole of rock city, so i would expect the price to be that of course! I just thought as well wasnt it DQ which had Dirty South playing and that surprised me with it being a small venue - but hats off to the Funk Junkies for no doubt having some thing to do with it. And I know that LJ Freemans one of the main reasons to drag down the big names and hats off to him also - all 3 of these have promoted sheffields night life so much - but again REWARD THE REGULARS -

Were not disputing the fact their not headlining brilliant DJs - i go to all the nights - and i can tell you now - from last yr to this yr things have changed, even back in aug the faces you use to see week in week out are begining to fade away. I love the line ups axwell, dave spoon, micky slim the list endless. -
