The dog pound is open for any strays to be taken in..open till 9pm every day..they will scan him and keep him safe for the owners to find and if no one comes forward he will get a new home...as long as he isn't aggressive etc x

Think they do other south Yorkshire pounds possibly Barnsley Doncaster...I presume Rotherham too as they are based in Rotherham...x

Radar have taken them in the past but not for a year or so...the rspca try to send some abandoned dogs to the kennels...bit naughty really but suppose as long as the dog gets cared for that's all that matters...x x

Rain rescue may be great for many south Yorkshire pounds and they do a great job...but they don't deal with the Sheffield pound...the ones that help Sheffield pound are helping Yorkshire poundies and B.A.D.A.W....it's all the smaller rescues that help out....the rspca don't help with the Sheffield strays...they even send abandoned dogs to the pound...I need to win the lottery so I can have acres of land to open my own rescue lol x

Get In touch with the dog pound. They have vouchers to give to people who need them for spaying and neutering..what type of dog is he...the ones they have run out at the end of December so if you get one asap he can be neutered for free to help with this problem and for all the health benefits everyone has mentioned above...Sheffield dog pound 07817497995..X

I have a slower old dog who i would love to take to enjoy a slow potter round a beach..Which is the nearest one that has parking near the beach and fish and chips for us to share nothing too rugged as she just has a slow mooch around.

As title...my old washing machine works fine so it's a shame to scrap it...it's got some mould looking stuff on the rubber seal but I have tried everything to get it off...it won't budge...it doesn't come off on the clothes so it washes fine...just doesn't look sparking but fine for pet bedding etc....would have to collect from s8 area...and not take too long as it's in the communal area of my block of houses so don't think my neighbours will be too happy it being there ages.... Hi my friend has called me tonight he saw a ginger and white cat laid in the road so he stopped to see if it was ok. A lady shouted out of a window that it had just been run over and pointed to a car just driving off....unfortunately the cat passed away with my friend comforting him....I took him to peak vets on woodseats to check for a chip...not heard back from them yet...so if you know anyone with a large entire pale ginger and white cat that doesn't return home..he is at peak vets ..x
