I have a great deal of empathy with your situation as myself and my family have had similar experiences. The problem is that there is no money to support the growqng burden on NHS resources . We are an ageing population and there is only so much money to spend (unless we all pay even more tax!). I have 2 dogs an elderly cross breed and a 9 year old german shepherd. Both have arthritis. Well said i have also worked in animal shelters and watched healthy animals put to sleep, it makes my blood boil when people see dog breeding as an easy way to make money.
