  1. Have the vets said how much it will cost to do the camera/xrays?
  2. Well six years on, after swapping to Goals, it seems they are going downhill too! Hardly any teams on a Wednesday night and loads of cancelled fixtures as they don't have enough teams in each league. £42 a team may be part of the reason for it, but not sure. Does anyone know if Pitz Power league has stepped it up on a Wednesday night as actually thinking of going back there, or any other suggestions as where all the 5 a-side teams have gone/where is good? Thanks
  3. Thanks for all your kind replies. I collected Reggie's ashes on New Years Eve, and he is now back at home where he belongs. Gone, but never forgotten. Good Lad.
  4. Our beloved cat Reggie was killed in the early hours of Saturday morning right outside our house on Middlewood Road. Whoever did it just drove off and left him. He was just 3 and a half years old. Too young to die. I can only take heart from the fact that it must have been instantaneous. Big thanks go to the postman who was walking past on his way to work at 6am who when noticing him dead in the middle of the road went over and took off his ID barrel and came and woke me up to deliver the terrible news. Fortunately I don't think he had been there long. I went out and retrieved him straight away. Heartbreaking. I cannot thank the postman enough as I can only imagine what a state he would have been in if he'd been left there any longer in the middle of the road. I know not everyone is a cat lover, but to knock him over and just leave him in the middle of the road is horrible. We adopted him 2 years ago from our neighbours where he was an outdoor cat, so there was no way we could keep him inside. He died 2 years to the day of us taking him in. For me and my wife he was a big part of the family (along with our other cat Millie who is his Aunty), and has left a massive hole. Reggie will never be forgotten. He was such a fantastic character. I hope it gets easier to cope with, but at the minute I can't stop thinking about him and get the image of him lying in the road out of my head. God bless you Reg, you were the best.
  5. It would be an even more mixed bunch if they opened some decent shops. It's 10 minutes walk from Hillsborough to Morrisons, 10 mins back probably more with heavy shopping so say 25mins especially if you had a few 'bags of sugar'. Hardly just nipping out to your local supermarket. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. No, I'd have preferred the Co-op not to have shut! Found it quite useful myself to pop in after work.
  7. Couldn't agree more. It's not surrounded by council estates and there are plenty of professionals who live in Hillsborough who would shop there if there was anything decent!
  8. yes it was it be expected, I blame it on the cold, it's friesian today.
  9. They must have had a BEEF with you. Give yourself a cow pat on the back for being a good neighbour though.
  10. un oeuf is enough with this kind of behaviour.
  11. It must have annoyed you to remember it 3 years later? Really, it doesn't matter whether there are enough seats on the plane, or whether you have to wait a few minutes more in the supermarket, it's the behaviour of the people involved that just makes you wonder what goes through their minds that they have to approach a simple thing like queuing in such a competitive manner.
  12. I will move it at lunch, weather kermitting.
  13. Go to Headspace in Hillsborough, on Proctor Place, really good... website : http://www.headspacesheffield.co.uk
