  1. I groom my dogs so just do it when they need it . If your dog don't need grooming could you just take the dog for nail clipping.
  2. I did the same moonbird an it worked out cheaper to take them to local vets. I have always supported the P.D.S.A and have been very glad of the help when i'v needed it but it has gone a bit off track with the contribution at the reception and then another one if you need meds. Now all this with "if they class your dog as pedigree" even when you know its not but it resembles one. I think they may have changed that( you can only register one if its deemed pedigree but you could have more registered if not) I can understand they need the money but at the end of the day it is the poor animals that suffer. I have always given as much as i can but i have seen people argue the point that its a charity so they don't have to pay anything.
  3. Sorry if i sound a bit dim but what do you mean.
  4. I also live in Firth Park near hospital an have been seeing them for about 3 years now.
  5. Im sure in a couple of weeks people(with no sense) will be throwing dogs out when the novelty of the christmas pup is gone they will be alover gumtree.
  6. Take a look at PDSA web site or RSPCA to see if you quaify for any of their discounts.
  7. Sorry i don't have any small shrubs that would be suitable.

  11. I wouldnt go cheap as iv tried a few and they don't work. the best one and best value is one that contains glyphosate. I used to get it from wilco in a concentrate you dilute your self but not sure if they have it anymore.
  12. This what i would do then get it covered.
  13. Hi, i saw an add on facebook for a dog walker/boarder an asked if they had Insurance and a licence an was then sort of entered into a debate as to who should be insured for what. Long story short is there any way i can find out for myself if a dog walker/Boarder is insured or licenced or even a registered bussiness. There is no way i would use the service in question just from the resposes i got but this has now put me in doubt as to weather i can trust just the word of the next walker/boarder i get intouch with. Is there anyway i can check for myself.
  14. Have you thought about arts and crafts? Pianting an drawing are very therapeutic. I find making things for my home or friends very fulfilling and feel a sense of satisfaction. Take a look at some youtube tutorials. you could try finding your family tree or doing an online course.

  16. Has anyone got any bedding plants or plants that look good in tubs for sale?
  17. Have you had her checked by a vet to make sure it's not some thing in the dogs throat. If you know anyone with nice placid dogs it might help her get over the fear walking her with them.
  18. The only thing i could add to ccit post is maybe a muzzle. The cage type not the cloth ones. This way they can still interact without the danger of damage to you or your otherdogs.
  19. I would say at 1 year old he is still very young and could change with help. I was not trying to say having him neutered would stop the problem although it helps sometimes, i was just gathering information to help pinpoint why he reacts and try to help.
