  1. The thing i find hilarious in this post is the assumtion that drug dealers only live on council estates! some people are so blinded by their own ignorance hilarious
  2. thank you medusa I have spoke to my mum today about ringing the clinic about entitlement for transport to clinics we are going to do this tomorrow as it isn't the hospital it is a clinic at jordanthorpe where she actually had the operation as well corrina
  3. hi there just wondered if anyone could give me a little advice for my mum she had an operation on her foot and will be in a wheel chair and off her feet for maybe another couple of months she is unable to get anywhere on her own and is getting help from my sister who lives near her they don't have transport to get around so have to use the buses which isn't a problem but wondered if my mum could claim any extra benefits while she is off her feet for her regular appointments at the clinic where she has to attend she has a cast on her leg from foot to knee but after attending clinic this week they found a large blister under the cast and to avoid infection have had to remove the cast until this heals which makes her healing process a lot longer than anticipated when the cast is on or goes back on she can use crutches but is not allowed to weight bear on the foot at all which she finds extremely difficult to do hence having to hire a wheelchair to move around although pretty healthy she is 67 so not as young as she usedto be any advice would be very helpful thanks corrina

  6. my god posts like this really wind me up its always about what they have heard from other people well done to the op for helping this man and am sorry for his wifes distress but remember there is good and bad on every estate there are worse places in sheffield and like someone said do you have proof they lived on winn gardens innocent until proven guilty springs to mind dont tar everyone with the same brush a lot of decent people live on winn gardens who work for a living believe it or not ignorant people really make my blood boil
  7. cna anyone advise me my daughter in law rents a house with her 2 young children it had not been occupied for a few years before she moved in since moving in she has had damp all over the house we think the house isnt insulated the landlords daughter visited her and has said a lot of things to her that i am sure she has no right to say things like because she has a settee a stereo and a box of toys in her living room pushed up to the wall that she has caused the damp by not letting the walls breathe also made comments on the number of shoes and toys she has saying she doesnt need all of them the daughter was arranging the plumber to come for a radiater in the living room to plaster behind it and told my daughter in law she had to wash all the walls and paint them before the plumber came! also her 2 very young daughters will not yet sleep in their shared room the landlords daughter said that if benefits find out they r not sleeping in their own room she will have her benefits stopped! cant think what else she has said off hand but i find this quite intimidating to my daughterinlaw who is not the sort of person who would answer back she was really upset about all this the last time the landlords daughter came she complained that she had been trying to get into the house with her key for a while but couldnt because my daughter in law had the key in the lock the other side is she allowed to do this!shouldnt she just knock at the door ?
