  7. Reference The 'spiders Web' This Was A Kind Of Roundabout In The Park @ Top Of Villiage,we Called It So Because Unlike Most Of The Traditional Park Roundabouts This One Had A Tall Cental Pole And Then There Was A Mesh Of Metal Framework That Ran Off This To Which Was Affixed A Wooden Seating Around Its Circumfrence, If You Can Understand That ??? But It Had The The Appearance Of A Spiders Web, Well At Least All Us Kids At The Time Thought So !!!!

  11. Hey are there any old sorry, mature folk that remember the fun days of 75 and 76 in the Penthouse ? Have great affection for those days. Was studying for A Levels @ Ecclesfield School @ the time. Seem to remember Wednesday night was cheap drinks night, think it was 12 p for a drink, pint or a half. Best memory of the music was,Faith Healer,Long Version, by SAHB, Billy Porter, Mick Ronson, and a track called Leave It by Mike McGear ( Maccas younger bro, i think, )

  14. I reckon that by about 1975 me and a few school mates ( ex Ecclesfield Comp ) did frequent the Fiesta a number of times.Remember going to see the lovely, if diminutive, Lynsey De Paul. What a gig, and at the end she finished with Won't Somebody Dance With Me ? And right at the very end she beckoned to the male section of audience, Well won't somebody dance with me ? Cue a mad rush to the front to oblige, never actually danced with her but got close enough to grab a smile.Lucky old James Coburn is what i say ( God rest his soul )
