Latest News on the Fearless Progress Tournament – 23/02/08 --------------------------------------------------------- We are pleased to announce that “The Man That Gravity Forgot”, PAC, is returning to Britain to compete in the Fearless Progress Tournament! Having spent excessive time in Japan working for Dragon Gate and also in the United States working for both Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, PAC is looking to make an impact in the U.K. on Thursday 3rd April, when he has the chance to wow the British crowds once again with his unique trademark aerial style. Also being announced for the show is German wrestler Bad Bones. Bones, who now resides in Manchester, England is an absolute mountain of a man and is keen to show off all his power and brute strength on April 3rd in Sheffield. My company, Fearless Progress Promotions Ltd presents it's first Pro-Wrestling Event - The Fearless Progress Tournament, on Saturday November 17th at the Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Sheffield. We're bringing you the best British and Worldwide talent to Sheffield, and we'd like you to come down and support us. The names announced so far are - Darren Burridge Jonny Storm Mad Man Manson Andy Boy Simmonz James Tighe Mark Sloan Sam Slam Martin Stone El Ligero All 9 men are superb at their craft, and bring a great mix of Toughness, Technical ability, Speed and Charisma. If you enjoy the WWE, TNA or ROH you'll love our show as it's the most ground breaking tournament to hit the UK in years, and if you follow the British Wrestling Scene, you'll also love our show as we feature the cream of the crop of British Talent. There will be NO "standard" 1-1 matches. Not one. Instead you will see your favourite wrestlers compete in a variety of matches designed to test the will, strength and heart of a competitor to see who can truly call themselves a Champion, a Winner. Some of the matches in this groundbreaking concept (not to toot our own horn too much) are - Tag Team Turmoil Match - The winning Tag Team must straight away face off against each other to determine who will go through to the next round. What the means is that each team must work together to win, then tear each other apart immediately after to secure their place in the Quarter Finals. Triple Threat Elimination Match - Three Wrestlers go head to head to head with each other in a Triple Threat Elimination Match to see who will go through to the Quarter Finals. But if you think that's it, you're wrong. The Wrestler who is eliminated last (two eliminations in total) will be the Special Guest Referee for his previous opponents match! Can you say - Revenge? Submission Master Elimination Match - Four men square off against one another, and the only way to eliminate your opponents is to make them all Submit! This is one of the most grueling matches in the tournament, and one of the most exciting. Special Guest Referee Match - This will be the eventual winner of the Tag Team Turmoil Match against the winner of the Triple Threat Elimination Match. The Special Guest Referee will be the person who was eliminated last in the Triple Threat Match, which could lead to some intriguing situations to say the least. Last Chance Lottery Match - The Last Chance Lottery is designed for those who lost the qualifying match to get a second chance at the glory that comes with winning. This match will feature the winner of the Submission Match facing off against the lucky loser of a previous match. Last Man Standing Match - To top it all off, the final match will be a Last Man Standing match, which means whoever doesn't answer a count of ten will lose the match. Both participants will be tired, weary and beat up, so it's going to take all their extra strength and will-power to pull off a win here.
