  1. I drive past this house everyday and always wondered what was happening. A couple of years ago they did a huge amount of work on it, then the scaffolding vanished and nothing has happened since. Shame as it's a nice looking house. The one behind/to the side looks nice as well!
  2. Reason for Rehome / Sale Moving house and do not have anywhere for a tank. Time Scale – How Urgent? Within next month. Sale Amount £40 Location S8, Lowedges Approximate size now and full grown size Tetras are just over 1", ram is about 1", Malawi is about 3, plec is about 3", loach is 2" and shrimp is 2". Minimum fish tank size needed They are in a 64 litre tank. Any Current health problems None known. COmpatibility with other fish All mild temperament. Beginners, moderate or experienced levels of fishkeeping required All beginners. Easy to feed Yes. Live food, dried food, frozen or fresh Dried. Destructive Behaviour No. Temperature range Tropical,Coldwater,Marine or Brackish water required Tropical, currently 26.5. General information that you can share I have 7 Tetras, 1 Pakistan loach, 1 yamamato shrimp, 1 ram, 2 Malawi and 1 imperial frog plec.
  3. I'm selling mine online with House Network and so far so good, I cannot fault them. I did look at a traditional agent but the fees they charge are ridiculous. I get everything you would expect from a high street agent, at a fraction of the cost. The only exception is I do not have an advert in a shop window.
  4. I went for a second simplified site rather than a responsive one. I found it much easier to handle but it does mean any amends have to be done twice. I do however use Adobe Muse which can handle three sites (desktop, tablet and phone) all in one which makes it far easier than using something like Dreamweaver or Wordpress where you would have to handle each site type individually. Try asking in the tech part of the forum. There will be people on here with far more knowledge than me (which doesn't take much!). I know there are a few web people on here.
  5. Mod note yes you are correct, threads asking for quotes or estimates are removed as they are not permitted in this section. For estimates (and asking for the cost of... is the same thing as an estimate) pleasevpost your advertisement in the "jobs" section of the classifieds on here. Thanks
  6. I like your thinking, a bit of up-cycling. Bit beyond my talents unfortunately.
  7. I will chop it up and put in the blue bin. Can have a bit of fun with an angle grinder!
  8. I have a couple of Giant African Land Snails which I am looking to rehome. Below is all the detail using the SF template. Reason for Rehome / Sale - I do not really know how to look after them and have no real interest. They were rescued from the brink of death as legally if you do not want them they have to be killed, they CANNOT be released in to the wild. My partner brought them home before they were squashed. Time Scale – How Urgent? No urgency at all. Sale Amount - Free Location - S8 Age & Sex - Both as they are snails they can reproduce without help. Approximate size now and full grown size - Their shells are roughly 4" long. They could grow to a 6" shell. They are 1 year old so will not grow much more. Viv size needed - They are currently in a small tank but could do with a larger home. Their current home can come with the animals. I also have an unused heat mat which depending on where they are positioned they could do with; if you do want the mat I would just ask for £10. Any Current or Historical Health or Psychological Issues - No known health issues. Temperament/Any handling issues - They handle fine but you need to make sure your hands and arms are cleaned with plain water first. Beginners reptile, moderate or experienced only - Beginners with a little research. herbivore/omnivore/carnivore/insectivore - Herbivore only. They eat lettuce, cucumber, peeled carrots and various other greens. They also have a cuttle fish for calcium supplement. General information that you can share - They are obviously not the most exciting pet, but are interesting to watch.
  9. Hi All I purchased a couple of disposable helium cylinders to fill a few balloons at an event we had a few weeks ago. On the canisters it gives instructions how to de-pressurise the cylinders and then states they can be taken to any recycling facility or left with normal household waste. I have taken them to Blackstock Road tip, who refused them and would not advise where to take. I then tried the bin men, who again refused and I have spoken to a couple of scrap metal people who again refused. Has anyone had the same thing and if so where did you taken them once empty? They are totally empty and de-pressurised so they are effectively just metal cylinders. They are only small ones, approx 500mm tall and 400mm dia so it's not as if they are the huge ones. They are fairly light weight as they are not the reusable style. Thanks in advance.
  10. We had Greg Bish Blueprint signing at ours just over a month ago. He was great and all our guests enjoyed it. We paid a little extra to have them learn our first dance but he's around your budget. http://www.gregbish.com/

  12. Hi All Thanks for all the replies and advice. To answer a couple of questions. HMRC are aware of my phone and personal use as I also get a company car for personal use, so my tax code is adjusted accordingly. In response to what I do it is nothing you would deem as needing an emergency call. I am a Project Manager for a company who build exhibition stands. The reason for the accepting calls all the time is we build stands around the world, so if you take the time differences in to account we can get calls at any time. Occasionally some of them do need answering fairly quick, or sorting fast; but most are rubbish and could have been answered by email the following day. I think a chat with the boss may be in order. I will try and get a feel for what everyone else at work thinks as I am currently working away so I'm not in the office. If there's a few of us of the same opinion it will make it easier to go in numbers.
  13. Hi All I have had an email from my boss and I'm not sure where I stand. So i'm after a bit of advice, if there is anyone on here who knows employment law/rules. I have been told I have to have my mobile phone on at all times and to be expected to answer any work related calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This is regardless of where I am or what I am doing. This would cover all holiday time and weekends. This is all without any pay other than 'it is what is refelected in your bonus'. Just to give a little more info we are provided with mobile phones by the comany which we can use for personal use. There is not mention however in our contracts of this 'always on call' situation. Can anyone let me know if this is allowed before I speak to the boss. It basically means we never get a day off. My biggest concern is I am soon to be going on my honeymoon and if I get a work call the marriage may be one of the shortest in history . Thanks in advance.
  14. The main problem is as the tablet won't boot I can't connect it to my pc. In command it just says device not found.
  15. The tablet is running Andriod 4.2 and it is stock. I have tried the factory reset within the system recovery but it doesn't fix the problem.
