  1. Yes the bags have been there since the beginning of Meadowhall.
  2. Well it sounds to me that as yet you have not started the job, so if this is the case maybe you are being a bit unfair in saying you dont like this that and the other, if you aint given it a chance. Why not give it a go and if you are genuinely unhappy then leave, there is nothing worse than being unhappy in your work, but at least give it a try gal. Good luck

  4. I was in a discussion with an acting Chief Inspector last night who informed me that on Friday and then a retaliation on Saturday night, two stabbings took place in Pitsmoor this weekend just gone , so do you really want to go there.? I have not heard anything on the local news re these, so it shows us all how much we are not told about the city we live in
  5. I have my shopping delivered by tesco and am looking to change, the staff must be brainless.
  6. You need to register a complaint, I did about the attitude of the copper that came to my home when my dog and I had been attacked by two other dogs. His boss has been to see me, the copper himself has been spoken to, put on a course and is under supervision, as I was not the first to complain about his tone. They are not gods, they eat, sleep and **** same as rest of us, sooner some of them understand that the better

  9. To BJMC I am so sorry to hear about your cat, I once tried unsuccessfully to obtain the number for dog wardens to report the Akita I mentioned in an earlier post, can you supply the number please Take Care
  10. HI ya lauren Quite agree my love, thats why I said I dont think the licence would help, but as you say train the owners not the dogs, and we may have a solution. I also feel its a matter of knowing your own dog, where we are my dog was not socialised much as we are out in the stix so to speak, and she is not young child friendly, she is nervous of them, I have grandchildren, 7 of them between 2 and 11 yrs, when they come the dog stays in the kitchen, it s quite simple. Dogs can be unpredictable, owners who wear blinkers are as dangerous as the untrained dog
  11. I and mydog were attacked by two dogs from Oaks farm at Rivelin a few eeks ago, the matter is in the hand sof the police. I honestly dont think a licence would make much difference, we have tried that in the past. The bad dog owners would probably not purchase one in the first case. Maybe its the owners that should be licensed and not the dogs, certainly some round here should be
  12. There is a dog matching that description that lives at Model farm at Rivelin Valley, which is S6, its always walking about on its on. Whereabouts in S6 are you referring to
  13. It has recently been on the news about a guy on a bus in Rotherham who had explosives on his person, he has been in court for the offence. This happened last year and the Transport Executive did not inform the travelling public, good huh.
  14. I would say definately, what responsible adult would not know their child was not at their side, god knows what else this child may have to endure. If you dont want to, I will if you provide me details, but please do.
  15. I am writing to appeal to those of you who have morals, please do not support ebay any more. The reason I ask this of everybody, is a report in the Sunday Times this week has disclosed that MI5 approached E bay to ask them not to sell ambulances, police cars etc as they have genuine concerns that these are going to be used for terroists attacks in the UK. E Bay have refused to co-operate unless this becomes law. This is appalling, they show no concern or thought for the people who have lined thier pockets. I can only hope that if this did occur E bay and their loved ones are the victims, maybe then they may think about their greed. E bay have also just been massively fined for selling fake goods. Please pass this on to as many of your friends, if they wont protect us, its up to us. Take care
  16. Hi I have recently retired from the PTE who is the company that install your stops and shelters, the PTE receive funding from each of the 4 districts of South Yorkshire. Baiscally if your dont spend your money you dont get any next year, but in fairness to the PTE they do have what they call life expired shelters, which is were there are deemed no longer safe to be on street. Shelters are requested by members of the public, bus stops are not. Hope this helps
  17. the first thing I have to say that you do not ignore having searches done, are you sure that they are not going to come and compulsory purchase your land to make for for wind turbines.????
  18. Hi Well after almost a year we have subject to contact fingers, legs, and knees crossed we have sold a propoerty which was at the bottom end of the market price wise and in an absolute steal. We had the property on with Winkworth whom althugh they had a few viewers were just wanting us to continually drop the price, I got fed up with their attitude and handed the property to Haybrooks, or is it Haywoods[ one is my accountant, I get confused]. They have had even fewer viewings but they have got me a sale. We have accpeted less than we wanted, but at one point I did have to get a bit stroppy with a young lad from Haybrooks who suggested that if I didnt drop the price maybe I should take it off the market. The property is yours and yours alone to sell, there is a limit that we all have that we cannot go below, otherwise it is not viable to sell, estate agents need to remember that, I appreciate they are worried, but so are we all, and they are still obliged to do their best by their client. Also beware there are those who will take adavantage of peoples situations and offer deliberatly bad offers, if you can, hang on in there, dont give it away. It will happen its just a matter of when. Best wishes
  19. Best advice is read the contract you have signed word for word if you did not do so before signing?
  20. Quite agree with the other gentleman who advised you to get the tiler back, jobs should not be left in this way
  21. We have a house with front and rear gardens for sale, plenty of room for expansion, also room for modernisation inside. The property belonged to my mum in law who died last year, its 2 bed, with living room , kitchen and bathroom, the kitchen would want modernising, and central heating installed, it has gas fires at present, as it is on the market for around £75,000 you would have plenty left over for modernisation, and as this is a house you will always be able to sell this better than apts, which are now in overkill. The property itself is in excellent condition, if you are interested enough to have a look, please contact me Best wishes Sue
  22. When is the public going to start making it more than clear that we are more than fed up with the do gooders in the world that are actually causing more harm than good. The result is the mindless violence that we have today. No respect or fear for authority is obvious. We have people in jail that could be released without harm to the public, not many, but some Im sure. This could make way for those that should be held. However,I think we require to bring back some form of capital punishment or at least National service for the youger offenders. They cannot be allowed to take life in the ease at which they do, assault on the elderly, the innocent, it has to stop, and we have to make it known what we as a country want our leaders to do. Anyone with me??
