  1. Hi Emma, I’m not sure about taking a dog out of the country in the cabin but it is a government law that dogs are not allowed back into the UK in the cabin. They must travel as cargo. I looked into it all myself last week and even rang Lufthansa to ask but they confirmed the above.
  2. Is it cream with grey faint stripes on? If so it's lost from carterknowle Rd. I have the contact details of the owner as I photographed the missing posters in Ecclesall woods
  3. Moonbird, I don't want to put a damper on things but 2 of my dogs can jump over the tall dog gates Luckily the rest of them can't .
  4. I didn't think you were supposed to use park tennis courts to exercise dogs? Obviously private ones are different.
  5. Hi, yes Del has covered work for myself and my customers have been very happy with her
  6. I'm sorry I don't board dogs. Just small caged animals like hamsters, birds, rabbits and guinea pigs. ---------- Post added 24-08-2014 at 19:00 ---------- Home boarding is usually £18+ per dog. I think last time I used Mutlins it was about £25 but was worth every penny for piece of mind.
  7. I hope you get her back safely
  8. I can recommend Walkies with Del. Her username on her is del n Kacii
  9. Fabcakes posted this a couple of days before she posted th goodbye thread. ---------- Post added 18-09-2013 at 20:43 ---------- Ah, bless it
  10. Fabcakes does them and I think Jarviscocker still does them. My dogs have had them from both ladies and love them
  11. Well done Jet and Alfie. Our little dog Louis from Sheffield dog pound won 1st place in best rescue at Bolsover dog show on Sunday. A good day for rescue dogs
  12. Hi Milly, you could offer to walk dogs from Rescues. I used to walk dogs for Sheffield dog rescue as the kennels were based at Ridgeway. After saying that 90% of my dog walking customers are teachers so it is possible to have a dog and work if you can arrange adequate cover by either family, friends, dog walker or daycare facilities. Good luck in whatever you decide to do. I certainly wouldn't be without my dogs
  13. Peewee84, what charity is it that you're fundraising for? Sorry if it's a well known fact, but I don't come on here very often.
  14. Well said moonbird. I totally agree.
  15. oh dear, your poor neighbour must be heart broken. I'm so sorry for her loss. RIP little dog
  16. Yes Nigel, it was supposed to be a surprise but trust you to find out x
  17. Nigel have you got the price right? I thought it was £10 per ticket. ---------- Post added 08-07-2013 at 09:47 ---------- *Peaches* I've just checked the family ticket price. It's £22.50 for 2 adults and 2 children and adult price is £10 ---------- Post added 08-07-2013 at 09:48 ---------- That would be great Fabcakes
  18. I stopped donating to the sheffield animal shelter once I became aware of just how many healthy animals they put to sleep. We hand reared 9 kittens last year that the inspectors had collected but the centre wouldn't pay for. They wouldn't pay for kitten milk but would pay to have them put to sleep. I now support small local charities who are commited to helping as many animals as they possibly can and who don't put healthy animals to sleep.
  19. Moonbird may be able to use it ?
  20. Nigel has a lot of Rescue dogs currently needing a home so please see if any are suitable for you. I haven't adopted a dog from him before but have fostered on 3 occasions. He gives his all to the dogs he rescus and always wants to do more.
  21. You do a fantastic job Sarah. I wish more people would support small rescues like you instead of the bigger ones. It could make such a difference to you xx
  22. You have it Jacky if it's close to you as I'd have to make a special trip
