Hi got a brand new HTC desire X yesterday Knocked screen today as it dropped off table onto wooden floor.. screen all cracked .. anyone know where I could get it replaced? thanks

Really? not sure they're the same type then- as mine have a large (couple of inch deep) metal what look like sealed casing.. so you can only see where the cord goes in (at 3 different points) .. so I don't know how you'd get in to re-thread it... I'll take them down and have a look thanks

HHEEEEEEELLLLLPPPP needed I have 3 rather expensive wooden venetian in my bay window The middle one (the biggest most expensove- obviously) cords snapped this morning.. I've gone to company I bought it from- they say they'll do nothing as they're out of guarantee Anyone know somewhere localish that can re-cord or re-thread them for a reasonable cost??? thanks :-)

All Bar One is definately open...I just looked on their website.. I'm looking for places to go in the evening... I would expect most city centre 'chain' type bars will be open as usual.. closing at 10.30pm hope this helps :-)

The train is great- but watch your return time. We travelled last summer and was delayed on the way back- we ended up in MCR airport at around 3am on a Sunday... the trains don't start until 8.30am that day (usually around 5ish) .. there is NOTHING open.. it was freezing and we couldn't even get a drink!.. As I was travelling with my 65yr old Mum, we ended up getting at taxi at £80!!.. as she didn't fancy the 5 1/2hr wait in the cold with nothing to eat or drink!.. be warned ;-)

I get these calls most days.. always from Kevin or James or similar although they are difficult to understand. I have tried telling them I know it's a scam and hanging up- they do call back though.. I had one guy call back 10 times after I'd told him to <removed> off. I did have a play with one though the other week when I genuinely had a laptop problem & it was in PC world being fixed... he seemed elated when I said 'yes I know I have a problem with the laptop' .. he started yabbering on... I then started asking him how they were getting on & whether the eta on completion of repairs was earlier than anticpated... he got very confused... eventually hung up!!

Not got round to trying Guru to Go- again a little put off with the no address thing.... but had a delivery from Spice Hut a week or two again (I haven't had one for a while as I was told it'd gone downhill) .. however have to say was V V Nice and arrived quickly... we did used to use Mangla but they took ages to deliver and it always needed heating up!! stop it you guys anyway... you're making me hungry!!

The new Riverside Cafe on Catchbar lane has signs saying it does parties.. and has a gorgeous outdoor space.. plus they're lovely people! The also have room upstairs so would be flexible numbers wise I would think If not the suggestion of the place off Marlcliffe road is a good one :-)
