in reply to "Resident" you are talking rubbish ,if the shop was closed at 9.00pm there are other shops open to go to ,the point is there are very few council tips you cannot go to another if they are closed ,what about people who work from say 0800 to1700 and are unable to get to a tip, if they want a shop there are plenty to go to ,think before you comment

Fly tipping ,sheffield council as already been said have only themselves to blame for the explosion of fly tipping ,yes its wrong and unsightly , but if the council thought it thru properly and work with the people of Sheffield, not against us ,open the dump sites seven days a week with proper working hours so one and all can access the sites from say 0830 in the morning not 1000 and stay open until 1900 not 0430 then perhaps the fly tipping would not be as bad

When are drivers going to start reading road signs regarding bus lanes ,I have had a stupid driver telling me i am in the wrong lane going down Granville road at 1245 today and i was the only driver in the bus lane when i shouldn't have been ,IF drivers were able to read the road signs it does state that the bus lane is only in operation between certain times of the day and MON TO FRI,Not Saturday not Sunday so outside these times any driver CAN use the bus lane but of course it requires people to actually READ what it says

perhaps if the supertram system /network was extended from Herdings around to lowedges THAT would be a massive improvement for the Sat James shopping centre ,perhaps people would stop driving there

no actually my wife had her back broke by two drugged alco,s and the wonderful police refuse to prosecute due to lack of evidence even though we had two witnesses ,I think at 67 yrs old i might be a bit too old to be a police constable ,why do the police keep saying cuts in funding etc etc yet they seem to manage to buy nice shiny fast cars easily enough

in reply to Eccy Beach I dont think with all the conversations on this forum that it is ONE incident or interaction do you ,sounds like the public are a little disgruntled with the police and there inaction (unless it entails a nice new shiny car to drive)

I wouldnt phone the police as the trust has completely gone in them doing anything for the public ,ask them to drive very expensive vehicles and they are crawling out of the woodwork to get there first ,ask them to attend a crime no no ,might get hurt ,lots of paperwork to fill in I wonder if anyone from the police or government would ever read something like Sheffield Forum to find out what the public actually think of todays police force or police muppets

I was found to have cancer after all the tests and opted for a radical prostectomy which is the removal of the prostate using robots ,the operation lasted 4.5 hrs ,wish i had now opted for radiation treatment instead

El Cid ,i had a biopsy 5yrs ago for prostate cancer ,its ok but undignified and unpleasant ,dont want to put you off because its the only real way to look at the prostate ,forget being embarrassed just go and have it done ,best to know if you have cancer or not.
