  1. If you buy it from the machines in the interchange, at least a day in advance, then its £6.90 return during the week. might be a little bit more at weekends. you get charged an extra £1 booking fee for doing it online
  2. Do those wheels require any special tools/knowledge? As i had my rear MTB wheel (Mavic rim, DMR hub) trued at Langsett and it was only about £10 if that. I did take it in loose though
  3. Beanies on Crookes Valley Road normally have a few outside if youre local to there, got one the other year that was good
  4. I regularly bounce people off me that are going the wrong way on those steps when its busy, gives me some satisfaction. same with people that have thier head buried in an iphone. am i a bad person? lol
  5. Leeds is £6.90 a day return ticket on National Express. Best cheap way to do it, i do it everyday for work usually
  6. Just as an update, went to this and it was still spot on. good selection of food out, including mussels etc which you dont often see on buffetts (which i didnt have, but others i was with said they were good) as a buffett and for lunch / early eve id still say its worth going to. not sure if all the previous bad reviews where when they were having a transition period? or maybe people were just expecting top class from a £7 all you can eat buffett?! anyway, was good
  7. Gluedtopc - Thats exactly what im after, esp regardin gthe ticket info, cheers all
  8. obv depends on useage, but my house of 2 people sharing, no car washing or garden watering etc, we changed to a water meter and it saved us a lot of money
  9. That car share website looks interesting, il take a look at that too. does anyone know if you can buy any kind of monthly pass on National Express thatd be suitable? i might call them at some point as nothing on the website
  10. I live within walkable (or a 5/10 mins bus or tram journey) of both sheffield bus and train stations. my destination in leeds is about 5 or 10 mins walk from both the train and coach stations, so no problem at either end really I took a look for X32 but cant seem to find much, dont think it runs any more, at least not under that number
  11. After a bit of information from anyone thats done/doing it please itl be daily, with me having to be in leeds before 9ish, and its got to be public transport. I know there is the train, but im leaning more towards National Express coach or bus. Do National Express have any kind of monthly ticket though? cant see anything on the website. Ive seen the MetroMaster ticket too, but you cant use those on coaches, just regular busses, and i cant find a regular bus that doesnt take less than 3 hours and 2 changes. lol. anyone know of a more direct bus i could use this ticket on? Id be up for sharing a lift and paying some cost towards that, but i dont know anyone doing the journey and dont drive myself, so couldnt share driving, only pay towards costs Thanks
  12. went once after all the hype, didnt rate it much at all. I think most of the 'hype' dates back at least 10 years? maybe it was good then!
  13. cheers. any other recent opinions? i know its not a 'proper' chinese restaurant, we are only going for a team lunch at lunchtime. I just want to know its still clean, food good? enough of it out etc? thanks
  14. Evening. Was thinking of a few people from our work going to Jumbo one lunchtime for the buffett.... Ive not been for a year or two and it was fine then. Ive heard a few bad reports recently though, saying it had changed, and not for the better? i walked past today and it didnt look as 'bright' and was empty Anyone been in last month or two? what you reckoned? I was thinking about maybe going to Number 1 instead, used to be at the tram stop, but thats closed now? Ta
