  1. there are too many points to ck up on so i wont quote anyone lol. i really feel for you as i said we had the same problem earlier in the year, we did phone to report the problem but ourselves went and cleared away the mess. we also used the woods (wide open space) to allow our dog to run around and feel a little free, and to teach recall. he too is no threat to anyone and at the time was a puppy. i don't think any sarcastic comments are helpful, some people dont like dogs those that do choose to read the thread and pass on well wishes. there are those that troll the thread just to be antagonising, it's not helpful. also being stuck in the house is an awful illness but dont poke fun if you dont want it back, its that simple. if i see a thread that doesnt interest me then i dont read it let alone comment on it. it really annoys me why some folk do it.
  2. lol, sure i need to buy the windows for dummies don't i? lol
  3. this happened to us about six months ago, we were walking our pup he was only six months old. we were down in shirebrook valley, and we heard what at first we thought chains. then there was blood everywhere some scrote had dumped a load of pint pots and i mean loads, stanleys pad was hanging off my legs went to jelly we rushed him to the vet i was covered in his blood bless the little mite he was in a state. people dont think, i mean stanley was lucky he has us, to think a poor rabbit or fox to be all that pain.
  4. well dave i'd miss you even if for just shouting at me on the computer tech thread. aww bless poor dave, we would have to go to one of thoses spirit churches to contact you about our dodgy laptops lol:D
  5. i too was a single parent and it was impossible to work as i had very little support. i alwys worked as in doing a lot of voluntary work in the community, this worked really well as i gained friends, knowledge and skills to help me get back to work when my girl was old enough, plus i would take her with me so she gained confidence and made lots of friends too. i did so much community work i got a paid job from it and they were great at supporting me during school hols. now i work fulltime and my daughter is at hallam uni doing very well. working is always harder finacially, however it's pride and paying your way that drives one to succeed.
