I cant seem to get my DS to pickup my wireless network. Due to compatibility with my work laptop, i have had to have my network open with no security, however i have negated this by not broadcasting SSID, and granting access via the ACL to only the MAC Adresses of my devices. however, i cannot get my DS to connect, i checked the MAC is allowed in my network ACL, and checked the settings on the DS - no joy. is it possible that the DS needs the WEP encryption turned on, and wont connect to an unsecured network? dont think so but dont know what else it can be. i am pretty sure my router is supported - its a D-Link DSL G-624T. anyone else had similar problems getting their DS online?

Bought my Premium XBOX 360 2 weeks before the price drop (Grrr) The four games ive been playing through so far are: Assassins Creed BioShock Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Halo 3 All 4 are stunning games, brilliantly executed with awesome visuals (especially Assassins Creed). The only problem i have is deciding which game i want to play on any given occasion. Grand Theft Auto 4 is coming on 29th April (there goes the whole of May for me then...) and with Microsoft shelling out $50 million for exclusive XBOX live content for the game, it should be amazing!

Oh its great, apart from the fact that i live in Riverside Exchange (Inside the Ring Road) and will now have to go up the parkway to come back down to cross the wicker to get to where i live, otherwise get a £60 fine if i go the old way via LadysBridge and castlegate. Thanks very much Sheffield Council - i really appreciate you adding an extra half mile to my journey every time i want to come home. why not have the new bus gate allowing access to those of us who live just beyond it? no that would be too sensible for the thick ******* from the council.

Last night on a quick trip to Tesco to pick up some beers for the evening, i was pulled over by the Police - the reason being that the Officer said i wasnt wearing my seatbelt - when in actual fact i was - as i always do... this happenned on Saturday night at the Roundabout on WestBar heading away from the courts at about 8:50PM i tried to protest my innocence but she wouldnt hear it - and wrote me up a fixed penaltry charge - its not that paying £30 is that much of a bother, but im just so p155ed off that i was given a penalty for something i didnt do... theres no point taking it to court as it will be her word against mine - and i know who will lose.. is there anything else i can do to protest this out of sheer principle? Dunno how the hell she could even see to say whether i was or wasnt wearing it anyway - as they were on my passenger side, half a car length back, and it was dark - how the hell would they be able to see that? what would you do? and has anyone else had the same thing happen to them?

Yeah, that will work, but i have since found out that the Nintendo USB WiFi Access Point for the DS will also work for the Wii - and this is readily available... think i'll try to pick one up in town...

OUCH - got my Wii for £180 from Amazon, then got Zelda last week in Argos as they were selling it half price at £19.99... I want to get a Nintendo WiFi USB dongle so i can access the shop channel to download stuff - but cant find one anywhere... anyone seen any place selling them?

I managed to order one from Amazon Yesterday.... i found that the best site to use to track which online retailers have stock is this one: http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk this site is really useful - updates every 60 seconds and keeps track of who currently has stock... i too was frustrated that only Game seemed to have them at over £330 with crap games - and not even Wii Sports... but thanks to the site above i managed to order tha basic pack with Wii Sports from Amazon for £179.
