  1. Exactly! I dread to think what mess is going to be made here when this is altered. I drive along this stretch of road numerous times a week and never have any problems, I can't even remember the last time it wasn't working properly but hey ho in Amey and the council we trust 😐. Fingers crossed our journey times will remain the same, I do hope so.
  2. Yes, i thought they would action my complaint just not so fast.
  3. Well after reporting the fly tipping and full bin to streets ahead yesterday they have been and taken the rubbish away, glad i reported it.
  4. I could have written this post myself, we're having the same problem. We have a bus stop next to our house and the litter bin is next to that on a grass verge next to our garden. The stink from the dog muck that's in it is horrible and over the last couple of nights someone has left a large black bag filled with rubbish and a rolled up bit of carpet. I have just called Streets Ahead and they seemed most helpful, they have put it in the system as a job to do so hopefully will get sorted soon. Wish i'd thought to ask how ofter they should be emptied now as it always seems full.
  5. Does anyone remember when Threads was being filmed in Sheffield, as part of the promotion they had drawn outlines of people supposedly burned into the ground in various places around town? Did i imagine this? My mother can't remember this happening (or anyone else i've asked for that matter). I'm beginning to think i've imagined it.
  6. We go on the 27th, really looking forward to it, especially now hearing your glowing report.
  7. Ooh, i love that booklet. I've got it, pm me your email and i'll scan and email it to you. Di x
  8. Oh my goodness, hello Carole. Fancy meeting you on here! My mum is fine thank you, you ought to pop over and say hello some time it would be lovely to see you. Di xxx
  9. I received my card redirected too, rang them up and was told to go on the gov.uk website and register to vote again. I did this and it took me through a series of questions including if i had been registered at another address. Hope that helps.
  10. It's my mum they have quoted in the Star, so funny they've called it Rampant Road - it's given us a good laugh that has. ...Just noticed they have now corrected it.
  11. Oh no! Very disappointed to hear this. I liked the workers there they were always so polite and helpful.
  12. We have stayed in Darwin Forest near Matlock a couple of times in the log cabins with hot tubs and had a great time - love it there.
  13. It was lovely, my 4 year old Daughter and I had a dance around the kitchen to it. Never normally listen to Radio Sheffield but had it on to see what was happening on the roads - glad I did it made us smile too.
  14. Min Schnauzer x sporting lucas (another cross breed).
