  1. apparently they do transfer back info on what you what to market specific things to the right people. i was warning people tho because they do insert a clause (santa) that says if you unplug your phone line within 12 months they charge u £x's

  3. telewest have been nothing but problamatic! they sent me no bills and the person who took all my direct debit details decided not to set it up so they cut off my service till i paid! still send no bills to me!
  4. cheers, so simple and yet so affective!
  5. hmmm i get this when trying to access that site! "This account has been suspended. Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources."
  6. kirky do you have telewest? when accessing interactive content it goes to front row movies, rather than having the channel your on stay on the screen. i hate that!
  7. midlandmainline.com i appreciate its not easy if you dont know where your going in advance but its still easier to book online and use the fast ticket service.
  8. in the middle of Dan Browns books at the mo. very good read
  9. i can help. i wanted to go to london. i decided what day. i went online. i found my ticket for £15 i booked it i picked it up from the fast ticket machine without a wait i travelled down south! easy as pie
  10. nice spec. all the fun of pc's is in the ordering and building. anyone want one making? im bored!
  11. it shouldnt ever get used. so using your phone line for calls ect will be fine. good luck
  12. sports is a must on sky. the pay per view games are cheaper than cable, and because sky like to keep it to themselves, only sky digital customers can get the interactive services. only minor pitfall i can think of is having to have your digi box plugged into a phone line. its for the interactive services that they charge you for, i unplugged mine straight away but have been told that you may incur a cost if you unplug your digi box from a phone line within 12months. other than that go for it!
  13. its all about knowledge. once or twice pc world have had some very good offers, but they normally work on the premise that people wont know if something is good value or not. but they do sometimes, have some good web offers
  14. they do work well but recently had problems with AC3 sound. ive downloaded winavi 6 beta which looks to overcome most of the problems. but both very good for avi->vob
  15. also get someone older to get insured and just be a named driver. you wont build up no claims etc but for a few years its the only way to keep the cost of insurance low. there is no magic company that will offer massive savings compared to every other insurance company
