do you know my uncle bryan who run down broadway ? my mum worked there too carol bryans sister i remember being in the office when my mum was working im 56 this year my mum had a painting its on the other side of the sign of down broadway it blue a siloette of a naked lady in blue my brother has it now .

my grand parents lived in the farmhouse and farm my mother and uncles was born at the farmhouse and farm they moved out when they was building the parkway .

i was born on whitby rd on darnall 1965 ernest morley aka darnall LILL was a very close family friend and lived in our yard there was my mum and dad in 1 house my nan and grandad in 2nd ernest in the 3rd house and my gram and grandad in 4th when they pulled the houses down ernest went to live on industry rd when he was getting elderly he moved into a bungelow off pool rd he did work down the pit for many years then went to work in nursing up at western bank hospital he collected thousands of money over the years for cancer research brenda and lill was close friends until the day of the parade when they would try and out do each other with there costumes lol earnest allways won lol he was very well respected in darnall by young and old and to this day very missed by family and friends and well know as THE QUEEN OF DARNALL adam :)

sorry i think you are talking about someone else proberly a friend of yours whos allways on here slaging venues off whose been aggresive theres no aggression here just stating a fact same people slag every venue off in sheffield

thats rather funny it didnt go threw a agent when we sold it it was a close friend who bought the club for a different use so iam sorry your very mis informed since our friend had the club as a timber yard has been sold again maybe your getting mixed up with that

its still the same people on here trying to slag venues off as it was 3yrs ago when i opened fab same silly little boys who sit on here day in day out 4k is easily made in a bar ive been in the trade over 30 yrs and before anyone says yes we only opened 6months only sold because of family death and illness and we earned all our money back and plenty more took over 12k on opening nite i think theres a lot of jealous little boys on here who dont understand business so if i was you LL just ignore them also 35 yrs ago there was gay bars and clubs in sheffield and also gay friendly bars so i dont think it would be a shock to people if there bar had turned gay look at the cossack used to be straight before gay xes was norfolk arms salutation /lydias bulldog/barcelona cavaliers/ norfolk arms/bronx sauna/ sportsman/indigo dempsey amberley none political club attercliffe rockies/pandoras/the club the planet /then dancing dollar then fab affinity/ mullberry tavern and plenty more

when the club is ready it will go in all the major gay press and also a website there will be loads of advertising so stick around and see this is not F.A.B but a large city centre venue :)
