well i don't think things are nearly as bleak as isotan makes out! basic website creation jobs don't really exist i've never known a company that would take on web or software developers without qualifications have you thought about testing? it can be a good way to get your foot on the ladder and it's one way of getting started without any qualifications

fair enough, i definitely wouldn't hail noel as a guitar god, and if i was listening to studio recordings would probably come to a similar conclusion i've still had a great time at oasis gigs though, and the word pentatonic never came into it :-)

like i said, most people don't go to an oasis gig for the musicianship... likewise, if you went to a sex pistols gig and had time to notice the fine points of jones' guitar work, you were probably missing the point
