  1. Andy C, thanks for the reply. Does that mean that I'll be able to catch a bus from Park Grange Rd direct to town. I'm more worried about getting to town from Park Grange Rd than vice versa.
  2. Does anyone in the know, know if Norfolk Park, specifically Park Grange Road will be affected by the Gleadless Townend - Station ( area 8 ) on the Supertram site? Will there be a bus running directly down Park Grange Road into town or will it be a circular affair whereby we end up having to go out of our way to get in to town. Cheers!
  3. Hi, I get the B2 replacement service to and from town from Park Grange Road. I have looked at the info on the Stagecoach website regarding the revised rail replacement from 16th sept until 3rd oct. Am I correct in thinking that people using Park Grange Road bus/tram stops can come home from town on the new B3 bus but can't get to town? I have called Traveline but they were not even aware of the upcoming changes. Utter shambles. Stagecoach couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery.
  4. The place around Hunters bar. Not wanting to say too much or name and shame, but the food and customer service was pretty appalling. Used to order from this place years ago and the food was wonderful, but after ordering the other day I'm changing my mind. The food was nothing but inedible brown slop with one dish indistinguishable from the other. The customer service was hardly satisfactory either. Very disappointed.
  5. Does the fault code show constantly? I drive a 52 plate Stilo, and on cold mornings my Coolant Sensor warning will flash up if I start the car after a short 2 minute journey (dropping our 5 year old at school etc.) The fault code can be cleared out by starting the car 4 times. After the 4th start the ECU recognizes there is no error and clears the fault from the dash. Might be worth a pop before you start draining coolant off to change the part.
  6. Hi all. Has anyone had their brake calipers re-furbed locally? If so who would you recommend? I need all 4 calipers re-furbed to a basic level. So stripped, powder coated and new dust seals etc. They're 4 pot Brembos from a 944 Turbo. 80's through to late 90's Porsches all suffer the same "plate lift" issue, where the guide plate for the pads lifts over time due to corrosion and muck building up. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
  7. http://www.sinemaster.co.uk/locations.htm I get all my touch up cans made from Sinemaster. Was about £38 for a large aerosol last time. Or there's Autopaint on Newhall Road http://www.sheffield.org.uk/info/1271/ http://auto-paint.co.uk/carpaint/
  8. Hi. Does anyone know when the Autumn 2010 term starts at Norfolk park community primary? Cheers
  9. MAF sensor. As others have said meters the amount of air and helps adjust fueling accordingly. Does the car idle ok? Flat spot and poor idling could also be linked to the TPS. Throttle Position Switch/Sensor. Although I'm basing this on my 944 Turbo which had a flat spot and idling/starting issues. Not sure the TPS works in the same way on a Boxster. If you want to get it properly diagnosed I recommend Millbrooke Cars on Attercliffe common. I've also heard good things about Autorads.
  10. Enlighten us to what things you've had done...
  11. Julia was my college tutor for a short stint back in 99-2000 ish. I'm almost certain she named the store as a double-entendre.
  12. Hi. Need an oil leak diagnosing and fixing on my 91 Porsche 944 Turbo and wondered if anyone has used Millbrook Cars (Ferrari,Porsche,Maserati specialists) for any work or servicing on their Porsches. I've seen a couple of 944's around town and wondered where you guys took your P cars for work done. I've used Swifts in the past on my old 944-S and was pleased with them, but Millbrook say they are a Porsche specialists. Thanks in advance.
  13. Pants! Who's gonna play RATT for me now?! Thanks for the reply anyway.
  14. Hey. Does anyone know if Rebels is open again yet? I heard September time but haven't heard anything since. Anyone?
