We pride ourselves on the development of children in a fun , safe and friendly environment. Our philosophy is always to promote football the way we believe it should be played , positive , attacking, free flowing football with the emphasis on developing players individually and collectively. Running teams from foundation level to U16's we currently have 13 teams playing regularly on a Saturday and Sunday morning, competing in the Sheffield and District Junior Sunday Football League. Young Owls JFC U11's 2015/16 We now require new players to join our team due to moving to 9v9. Training & matches are held at state of the art facilities providing the perfect surroundings for players to learn & develop. Our team ethos is to work hard, develop & achieve in a safe, family environment. We have successfully completed the 2014/15 season playing in the Sheffield & Hallamshire District FA, and additional achievements of Regional Champions in the Indesit Cup, a trip to Wembley to compete in the National Finals. To cap off an amazing season, well and truly signing off in style, we have just returned from an away tour of Italy. Competing in various tournaments against a different footballing culture. I'm looking in to the Cold War era, and what Sheffield’s involvement was. Hence my reason for restarting this thread from years ago. Can you elaborate further on where the sites in Sheffield City Centre were please?

A list of the 'bunkers' built and operated by the Military, Royal Observer Corps. The ROC manned these locations and their purpose was to monitor the radiation fall out levels post nuclear attack. Gents, Does anyone have or know of an old kit that is unused? I have entered a team in to a Charity Football Tournament this Saturday and require x7 kits (or just shirts). I'm not looking to pay a lot of money as these will only be used the once so i was wondering if any Football Clubs in the Sheffield area have any old kits that they do not need??? Gents, Looking for a Saturday Morning Team in the SDFPL. Experienced 33 year old, not played competitive for the last 4 seasons due to coaching Junior league, would like the chance to get back playing. Not 100% sharp but working on that, would appreciate the opportunity to Train and eventually get a run out. Cheers, Mark

Thanks for the interest lads. Ideally i would like to play in the SDFPL, which is a Saturday morning kick off. This depends on how quick I can get together a full squad as there is a lot more preperation involved, arranging friendlies with exsisting teams in the SDFPL etc. Failing that then the Sheffield Imperial League who play Sunday mornings, with a view to changing to the SDFPL at the end of the season.
