I signed up after the show and the site seemed slow so thats a good sign that it was busy! I also signed some other people up (with their permission!) and tried to make some people sign up but they wouldnt as they didnt like the thought of it (?) I think that programme will have done a lot of good.

Government paid for me to go to uni but im still in debt. Too much stuff out there to buy! Blame it on the STUFF!!!!

I cant complain either really. I easily managed a part time job along with uni and placement and got my 1500 a year loan. Yes i ended up thousands in debt but that was because i wasted it all on things i didnt really need. I think to be fair, a lot of students waste money on things they dont need. For me it was clothes and makeup, for other it will be meals out and drinking sessions.

I got around £1500 a year which is, I believe, the minimum possible amount you can get (lucky me!)

Dont be mean. I was just airing my feelings which is what i thought this website was for. I just thought people who know a bit more about it might offer reassurance in the form of statistics or facts. Theres no need for such a nasty tone.

Im scared! I know i shouldn't be but these terrorists are scaring me. I keep having nightmares where im looking out of my window and all the houses and towns are all bombed and its all gray and the sky is full of explosions... or being on a train and breathing in toxic gas and feeling my breathing getting harder and harder. Im sure itll all end in chaos. I bet there are loads of them hiding away and they arent going to stop until we all give in to their beliefs. I dont want a life of oppression. If i wanted to be a muslim Id be one, but i dont want to be one. Please dont make me! Im so scared theyll just mass bomb loads of places at the same time. Then itll end in a war, a civil war.. a massive civil war - islam extremists vs western society. Theyll play dirty too, chemical attacks, bombs, all involving civilians. I cant imagine this NOT happening to be honest. How can we stop them? We cant! We cant possibly catch every single extemist out there, and even if we do, others will become extremists and replace them... Theres no way we can stop it, not that i can think of anyway. People keep saying live your life and dont let them win but i cant help it. Please offer nuggets of reassurance to end this fear.

pure bleach got the dark brown out of my carpet although my carpet is beige, if yours is darker itd probably bleach the colour out.

i wouldnt bother - im at uni and its awful - just constant work to do all the time, constant deadlines to meet and whenever you do get a free bit of time constantly worrying about the next bit of work youve got to do but dont have a clue how to do it. You cant read novels, all the books you read are to do with the subject and if theyre not you feel guilty. No, dont bother. You havent missed anything (unless you do some mickey mouse 12 hour a week uni time course that is)

I wouldnt like to say i was unhappy because my problems are very small. Working at the hospital has made me realise how fortunate i am and moaning over trivial things and getting down about silly things that can easily be sorted is a waste of time.

What happened to wispas? they were around for ages and suddenly disappeared.

Yeah its ok - nothing special. Just your typical tourist holiday place. One good thing is the weather. It was really sunny and hot and the car hire companies only seemed to have open top jeeps so we got one and it was good.

May i add Salford to the list. I got lost there once and it looked quite nasty. Also i wouldnt add the whole of rotherham, parts of it are ok and you have to bequiet well off to live in some areas of rotherham, others - such as eastwood, canklow, rawmarsh - yes very much so. Same goes for doncaster and sheffield.

Check coolant levels. If theyre low and you dont do anything about it its not nice.

Although you all say youd stop and help a person, it would be interesting to see how many people ACTUALLY would if it happened. Probably not many at a guess and basing it on previous studies done by psychologists. Especially if you were on your own and no one else stopped.

Nah, just apply - they let ANYONE have one. Even me. They also seEm to have a set limit of £2500, which is quite high when youre like me and dont earn much. Im also annoyed that i never get sent pens. The amount of interest theyre getting paid from me and i dont even get so much as a free pen yet you lot who dont pay them anything get loads. Its just not fair! Ill cite lack of free pen as the reason for my next late monthly payment!

I read in the BMJ that St Johns Wort (available at most supermarkets/boots etc) actually works as good as, ifnot better, than some of the medication they put you on for depression. I tried it and it was OK. Not miraculous but there were subtle changes such as im not managing to get a bit of work done and i find it easier to get up in the morning! May be worth a try?

No offence but everytime i drive through eastwood i, without fail, see an abandoned or smashed in old car. What you make of this is up to you but im glad i dont live there. I am currently in the process of saving up enough money to move out of Rotherham. Again, what you make of this is up to you, but bear in mind i work weekdays, evenings and most weekends and most of my worldly posessions are up for sale on ebay.

Yeah definitely. Id like to drive along route 66 and visit the grand canyon and niagra falls but it'll never happen because its all seems like too much of a hassle. A lot of it is down to idleness. I can go to bed with all sorts of plans for the following day but when i wake up all i feel like doing is staying in bed... so i do (if im not working anyway) I also feel the fact that most people are bound by their working life which dictates the amount of weeks we have free to do the things we want to do (4 weeks a year isnt much) doesnt help matters.

Girls have started this boxer shorts showing off thing now ive noticed. They sell boxers for girls in shops (such as topshop) although i find this very odd i agree the thongs showing above jeans thing is not a nice sight. I assume its to do with the lowering and lowering of waist bands of jeans these days. I dont, however, find thongs above jeans as bad as thongs under too mini skirts with lower buttock cheeks hanging out. Ive seen this several times lately. On the spot fines similar to those given to litterers should be given.
