ugh... why do these threads always end in another MS vs linux epeen competition. Give it up... linux isnt the greatest still and Yes I have tried it. Im with you ghozer. Ever since W10 I have been running windows built in AV with zero issues. It even grabs the (*ahem*) 'files' I dont want it to!

if you can boot into download try pressing the volume up instead of down. This should get you into recovery where you can hard format the tablet. The fact you can boot into download is good. It means you can still recover the tablet via Odin with the correct files.

un install the gfx drivers and update. Had this on 2 desktop pcs that run twin and triple displays and W10. Royally stuffed up the multi monitor after an update and had to re install the gfx drivers to get it to work on both machines. I assume a laptop would be similar.

Yes. I have also had a few funky things going on after mine updated. You need to clear the cache partition via recovery and it should work fine after that. Usually its ( on samsungs anyway)pressing Power, home and vol up button when turning the phone on to get into recovery.

A lot can be done in the case of physical failure but its a specialist job, hence the high prices for data recovery.

Shouldnt matter where the restore point is. Just make sure your current time and date are correct in the bios and within windows Also to do a system restore you have many prompts that you have to agree to so you wont of been hacked... whoever was using the pc performed the restore.

Unfortunately I have to agree. My aging laptop crawls to a stop when I open a number of tabs due to CPU use... Youtube just stops it dead! Open everything in IE ( i know i Know) and it runs fine.

Agree and disagree with some of the above. 2204's on a 250 frame would be better suited rather than 1806 and the battery wants to be smaller Mah and 4cell such as 1300mah 4s 45c. 2200mah 3s 25c is not enough and too heavy, especially with 1806 motors. Once you get the hang of it you will be wanting to draw more than it can provide. You will also need to go to 20a esc such as the littlebees if you go 2204's and 4s. The joys of quads.... there are limitless combinations!

Avoid the Walkera 250...... has alot of issues apparently I started with an Emax nighthawk 280 rtf. Buy some eachine 007 goggles, a few 2200mah 3s 65c batteries and a charger. $500aud or about 400gbp should get you in the air..... (RTF = Ready To Fly, Just add batteries. ARF = Almost Ready To Fly, you need your own transmitter and receiver) Then after the first week it gets expensive and addictive! These rcgroup forums are a wealth of knowledge and information regarding issues and products. Personally I have spent around $1800aud so far on everything that I need.

no difference at all to a 3.5 drive and will perform exactly the same. (bar the speed which is negligible in a storage drive) No there not. NAS drives/dedicated storage drives probably are though. The OP didnt get ripped off if they asked for 250gb and a 2.5 was put in, it makes no difference at all. Why should they of put a full size 3.5 in?

Depends how much you want MS to know what your doing with your pc. I like w10 but linux is looking better and better every day! (And I dont like linux! )

Assuming you have set the correct resolution with display settings, you might need to tweak the settings on the monitor if there not quite right.

you may have to remove it manually. Odds are the exe for it is in your browser temp files and arent being removed. you run the browser and it starts all over again.
