  7. Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, I've been a member on another parenting forum for some years however. I have 3 children, 11 and 9 year old boys and a 5 year old girl and my 9 year old has recently been diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome, he's a bit ofa handful but lovely, he can just get a bit much, I work 20 hours a week and they go to a childminder, she's finding it hard and I just don't know what to do, I sent him the other day with a behaviour chart, seperated into 2 hour sections because he can handle being good for 2 hours at a time, he's not 'naughty' just likes to be the centre of attention and do things his way, like going upstairs on the bus after being told 4 times not to, climbing a tree afte rbeing asked not too (All reasonable boy things if you ask me but however, he'd been asked not I suppose is the point!), I'm reaching the end of my rope, He's good with me so obviously showing off for the childminder as a kind of punishment, I have this week off then they're back at school, I can't afford to give up work so that's hardly an option but wondered if anyone had any similar experiences they could share.
  8. Hi, Mine are all too big now but there is a toddler group at Halfway junior school that hasn't got a waiting list and is nice, and there is one at Shortbrook School to, on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning, I used to go there for years with my munchkins! It's in the community room in the school on the shops, don't be shy about going in, you'll be fine!
  9. I went to Ashleigh, as I went into the 5th year it became Myrtle Springs.
  10. I left Ashleigh in 1989, altho to be fair I wasn't there very often, used to go for registration then vanish down the side of the tennis courts and spend all day in the hole in the Road being a menace! lol! Been enjoying reading the memories, most people seem to have been around before me though so I don;t recognise any names.
  11. I lived on Seagrave Creascent till I left home and my mum still lives there and I loved it, they're going for a lot now on there!
