Lead taken from several houses last night on Dorothy Rd, Hillsborough

Hi Blondie. I had exactly the same ticket from Flora st on march 21st. Same case, others parked next to me had no ticket either ( must have only recently painted lines cos they weren't there last week) I received my NTK yesterday for the £100 fine. Did research and sent off a letter to the company to argue the point.

I was on the premises for 8 minutes. The other cars were there when I arrived as there was only 1 space to pull into.

The time I feel is relevant as the previous reply states -the sign on entry to the car park states any vehicle/driver remaining in this car park 10 minutes after entry is subject to and agrees in full to the terms and conditions As I was no longer than this I feel it unjustified. I have photographic evidence that other cars were NOT given tickets who were parked where I was. Just looking for help and advice from others.

I did not go elsewhere just the one shop - how will the parking company have a log of the time I entered the car park? there is no CCTV ( although I wish there was so I could prove my point)

I paid for the goods at 11.48 and she was writing my ticket at 11.52

Thanks for the reply - I will wait for the NTK then put in my letter to the company. I have saved a receipt from the shop I was in to prove my length of stay - will take a look at the entrance sign and photograph, cheers. Let me know what you are planning to do

Thank you for your replies, much appreciated. I have put together a letter as I am that mad with the situation but still unsure if to send off or just ignore and see what happens. Am definitely putting one together for the shops too

It was a private company - vehicle control services - It was not actually on Flora st that is where the small shopping centre is, it was in the car parking area for the shops. I returned to take photo evidence and more had been ticketed

I am absolutely livid at getting a parking charge notice this morning whilst in Home bargains, flora St. I was in for literally 10 minutes, came out to find I was being written a ticket! I questioned why and was told - Edison ( the company) are fed up with the parking here! She told me I have parked in an unmarked bay - as had @ 10 others, yet only 6 of us had tickets! All of the marked bays were full, so I parked on the right hand side before the ramp to the fitness club - I was under the impression we could park here. The fine is an extortionate £100!!!!!! Should I contact the company to refuse to pay or ignore the fine? In two minds what to do. Others in the same situation were as aghast as I am:rant:
