hopeyou guys all stay safe and well, weather not lookin good. i know it wont flood everytime it rains but me not being able to support my freinds n family from so far away i worry a lot. its all you guys on this forum that have helped me to stay calm n collected through this because of your amazin sense of community. hope everyone is and will be ok. lisa

because i now live in devon and really struggle for transport to get up there, i have not been able to help any flood victims including my own family. as you can imagine i have been very worried but also felt a bit crap that there was nothing i could do. could you please let me know if this charity gig kicks off as i would buy a few tickets as long as its going back to the people of sheffield. i know it wouldn't be much but its about all i can do. believe me if i could do more i would. is there a specific fund set up for the flood victims as yet that we can donate to? i really do hope that everyone is safe now and that those who lost can rebuild. i really wish i could be there. lisa

so many people are going through hell right now, your neighbours!! if you cant say anything constructive or helpful, why say anthing at all. yes, other countries have devastating things happen but this is on YOUR doorstep, and after this weekend could have destroyed your life too! think before you post!!!!!

wow, its heartwarming to see how the people of sheffield have pulled together during this awful time. i moved to devon 4 years ago leaving behind my whole family. i only wish there was something i could do. my family have been devastated by this and lost so much.naturally i am beside myself with worry but after reading this feel better knowing there are wonderfully brave amazing people that will help them. i am truly proud of my roots. thankyou to everyone , you are all equally brilliant and i hope the rest of the country realise this........im certainly spreading the word down here!!!!!
