When I looked, a guy was laid on the road, dont think there was a crash or anything just a guy trying to cross near the entrance to the duck ponds. Really horrible!

I don't drive so not sure what the road is called, its coming off the round about near Normanton Springs going towards Crystal Peaks, a guy looked seriously hurt, hope he was ok, anyone know what happened? It was around 6pm today

I personally prefer the age Riley is at now (16 months). I found that the newborn stage was very hard work, sleepless nights, constant bottles and crying! Riley now eats the same as me throughout the day and sleeps 8pm - 8am. Plus it got to the point where I was thinking "When is he going to do something" LOL He is forever doing new things and makes me laugh everyday!

Riley's song is "Umbrella" by Rihanna, he loves it sooo much, he can be screaming his head, if I put it on for him he shuts up a sits staring at the TV throughout the whole song! Occasionally doing a little dance Ha Ha Ha. He also likes "Rockstar" by Nickleback

I had these tablets when I was pregant, they do no harm to the baby, I was a bit wary of taking them too. Unfortunatly they didn't work for me and I ended up in hospital, losing 3 stone and being off work throughout the whole pregnancy. Work wasn't impressed AT ALL. In the end I didn't care because it was something I couldn't avoid. Don't worry and just relax. Good luck with your pregnancy.

Riley does this alot when he gets really upset, I blow in his mouth (not too hard) which works and he then lets out an all mighty cry

Thanks for all your comments. I think it really does depend on the person. Obviously I'm just not ready and I think waxonwaxoff has a good point that if I'm going to spend the whole night wishing I could go home and see Riley then it really is missing the point. Thanks guys you've all made me feel better, I'm going to try and not care about what my friends and family say and just do what I think is best for me and my son xxx

Yes I'm ok leaving him with my mum who has had one or two times while Ryan and I have had a night out for a meal. Other people have offered but it just turns into this akward moment because I just don't trust anyone. I'm sure when he's a little older and a little more high maintenence I'll being jumping to the chance of a night out

Well I'm at 7 months now, maybe after 5 years I might be wanting a break lol I don't disagree with people having time off. I just don't agree with people who have kids and expect other people to look after them for them. I hate it when those people tell me I'm doing something wrong for actually looking after my child. I love Riley more than anything in the world, and just want to do my best for him.

Ok am I the only one that has a problem with leaving there child with people? Obviously certain people are off the babysitting list because I don't trust them, but I really just don't want to leave him. All I get off my friends and family is "You need your space, just have a night off once in a while". I didn't have a baby to dump him on other people, I had him to look after him myself. I really do not miss going out and getting off my head every night. I would really much rather stay in and have my nights with Ryan and Riley. I have really had enough of the " He will get clingy" talks. Most of my friends have had babies aswell and just dump them on other people all the time to go out and get drunk and I'm now talked about as the "Boring" one lol For looking after my child???? I don't get it lol Does anyone else feel like this or I'm I really too over protective????

I am on the depo at the moment and was told by the doctor the second time I went that it could take 18 months for my body to go back to normal when trying for my next baby. I was really annoyed as my first doctor had never informed me of this. I plan to only have two more injections as I want to try for my next baby towards the end of the year.

Hi All Is this just me, or since you have had your children do you find that you get upset at the slightest thing??? lol I was watching dumbo with my sister and my 7 month old son yesterday and burst into tears at the scene with dumbo and his mummy.
