One of my Bassets eats them when ever he gets the chance to sneak upstairs, they usually pass though in a day.

Been playing about with a few ideas for my shop and just wanted some feedback from Grow-your-owner's! If there was somewhere to sell / swop your excess fruit and veg would you consider it. Would you want to sell it or would you want to swop it for other veg you may not have? Also would people be willing to buy locally grown fruit and veg maybe in mixed baskets/boxes. Feedback would be greatly received. Thanks

Have you tried Abbey Glen, i know they throw away old towls that have rips in, they might be worth a call!

I am posting this on behalf of a freind. He is a black and white tom which has recentley had an opperation on his jaw so he has a 2cm ligature sticking out of his chin. He has been chipped and their vets and chip company have been notified. Please can people keep an eye out for him as he is much loved. There are plenty of posters up in shops round Crookes with contact details on or contact me if you have any news. Thanks for reading

The pet shop on Crookes sells sacks of them for £30ish quid they are the best price i have found for them. There is about 50 in a sack. Loads cheaper than Pets at home and they are a better quality. Think it is called Home pet supplies.

I am so sorry to hear you are in so much pain. What you are discribing sounds very much like my husbands symptoms, for years he has been fobbed off with the good old IBS (which they seems to be an explanation to so many problems). He also has been given a list of drugs which none have made any much of a difference. He to has been taking omeprazole (which he firmly belives has been making him feel worse) A couple of months back he saw a Dr Shaw at the Hallamshire and she diagnosed him with a disease called Diverticular. She was only able to do this through a CT scan and an ultrasound. You need to go back to your GP and explain that you feel like your symptoms are been dismissed and that you feel like you are been medically neglected. Please dont give up fighting. There is someone out there that can help, you just need to be pointed in the right direction
