When she goes to secondary school she will be reassessed - most secondaries do not trust SATs results as so many children are coached to pass them. You should find that the secondary will take primary school teacher assessments as a starting block to set her and then she will be moved over time as to how well she is doing when she is there. But don't you think tutoring will help her progress? and be beneficial?

"actually i was about to add that she will only be made to repeat them once she starts in september" So therefore shell be prepared for them. Just from experience.

SATS determine the standard of class for core subjects that you go into for secondary school. Do rubbish in sats and your put in the low level groups with allot of people who disrupt class and make it harder to learn and progress.

Has any one had and or does anybody know a good ks2 tutor. I am wanting to hire one for my daughter for maybe once a week up until her SATS. If so what rates are charged? Thank you.

Forge valley looks very promising , live just next to the school , excellent area beautiful building , heard the teaching staff are going to be the very best as alot of old staff have lot there jobs , forge valley is goig to be an excellent school and sixth form which is brilliant for all people wanting to learn
