  1. Oh right I see, sorry I was skim reading through it. In that case it wouldnt be do-able. Yeah obviously there is some darker ink showing, but considering the colours used in the cover up I dont think its too bad. Its much better than the before picture. If I didnt know it was a cover up I would have just thought it had some unusual shading.
  2. Depends though. I have a link to a cover up of a dark tattoo. Before- http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?pid=337012&id=100000202436861 After- http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?pid=337014&id=100000202436861&fbid=127447487271998 Pretty good. Was thinking of a similar cover up. The tattoo is an old and small tribal. Want something bigger and more artistic over it. That after pic has given me alot more hope to get something nice designed that will cover it up well. I think there are alot better inks being used now than say 10 years ago.
  3. Crisis over! My husbands come home early from work to rescue me. Hes sorting it all out. Thanks for the replies xx
  4. Everyones at work neighbour-wise. Cant do the wheat bag thing either. Just my luck that the microwaves packed in recently. I have an infrared light thing on a massager that eased it yesterday but its a bit awkward to hold in place today as i feel alot stiffer round the shoulders. So its counter productive. Just need something soft and hot to lay on really. All this for something that will probably be fine in a couple of days.
  5. Dont think Ill make it to town. My movements a bit limited, cant cross the road as safely as Id like to. Cant turn my head round enough.
  6. Im in Nether edge with a very sore and stiff neck. I think its a sprain. Does anyone know where I can get a hot water bottle from thats close by. Cant find mine when I need it most! Matalan havent got any because its summer, and boots is very expensive for that kind of thing. If anyones local shop does them and its in short walking distance for me can you post please xx
  7. As far as I know you have to join online. I work across the road and was asking about it before it opened, they said I could pop over and look round when the machines were put in to see if i liked the look of it. Also when you become a member you get a unique 6 digit code that you have to type into a keypad to get into the building. Yesterday I saw several people having a look round with the staff there, so im sure if you make arrangements in advance with them you will be able to get in no problem. Im sure they dont expect everyone to just join without seeing the facilities!
  8. Also a bonus is that there is bicycle parking too, and its covered so you dont get a wet seat in the rain.
  9. I have joined and it is really good. I like it so much better than the ponds forge gym. Most of the cardio equipment is near the windows, so although people have a nosy in on the way past, its nice and bright and you can watch the cars going by. I found ponds forge to be too dim and artificial. Not everyone wants to watch rnb videos while working out so in that sense its nice. Although in the weights room there is some cardio pointing at tvs. For those who like that. Its nice and cool and the cardio stuff has built in fans on it too. You need a padlock for your locker and a towel to wipe the equipment down after you have used it. There is a vending machine that has both of these in if you need, i think it has water bottles and sunbed eye things too. The showers and changing room is as nice as the members only ones at ponds forge, and theres lots of room and hairdryers. As a rule I dont like going to the gym anyway, im quite lazy like that, but im comfortable when i go and its nice to watch the world go by while exercising. It seems very unpretentious and because its so cheap I think its great. I prefer it to the fitness unlimited scheme in sheffield, only downside to it for some is the lack of pool. Although at the times i used to go swimming at PF, there was always half of the pool closed for teams etc, and very crowded lanes which put me off. Pure gym at 13 quid a month leaves more than enough cash to go to a local pool though so its not really a problem. Gets my approval.
  10. Khushi on abbeydale road do apna style.
  11. Sheffield Forum: A place where if you have nothing remotely interesting to say, you will pick on someone for being stupid, based on the accent they have.
  12. Empire Hair design are good. Reasonable prices too. Never had a bad hair do from them. They are on Empire road. Theyve been cutting hair for years so they should be able to help you. S7 1gl is the postcode.
  13. City centre to Sheffield lane top. On more than one occasion. Sometimes along main road, sometimes through the cemetery. Always drunk. Best time 57 minutes. Its about 4 miles i think.
  14. Too many scumbags in some areas. Who in turn create kids that learn all the disgusting habits from them and so on and so forth. Most of the people you will see on a day to day basis doing this sort of thing are probably blissfully unaware that they are offensive to more than one sense.
  15. Going round parts of magna is like being in Star Wars. Im 32 and I was half expecting stormtroopers to come round the corner.
  16. Nice of you to judge someone because they remain on speaking terms with exes.
  17. There seems to be a couple of gangs of youths round this area an surrounding. Its pretty good other than what seems to be the same kids causing trouble. Im at Nether Edge and theres a group of lads who are always swearing at people and vandalising property. The thread from a while ago where the lady was pushed over near tesco, I suspect it was the same group who did that. Its not good that they seem to get away with it. I had to phone the police to report these kids smashing garage windows and stealing stuff out of it, but the landlord of the house turned up and they ran off while I was on the phone. No police came out as there was no longer a crime in process. Perhaps the worst thing about it was there were 3 or 4 really small kids who were hanging about with them probably only just school age, and werent damaging anything personally. Not really a good example to set to them, and they left them there to take the blame.
  18. I have known many dogs in my time. I have owned 2 chihuahuas who were very aggressive when they wanted to be. Had it not been for their size they could have caused alot of damage. I had to warn small children not to touch them just in case. Little fingers could be at risk. A friend of mine had a border collie which didnt like children (a neighbours kid kept trying to ride him.) He snapped at the child when he got fed up. No contact was made but he was kept away from kids when outside on walks as a precaution. He would also go and hide when kids were around indoors. I have known 3 Yorkies that would happily try to savage you if you went too near them. On the flip side, 2 more friends of mine have 2 Staffys that are the softest dogs I have ever come across. The only attack you will get off them is a lick/cuddle attack. So out of that lot, which do you think I would trust my fingers with? Thats right. the notorious staffy.
  19. I agree the point on fighting for the country. My nan (rip) did her bit during WW2. War broke out when she was just 20 and if she was alive today she would have been 90. I expect alot of the pensioners trying to get on the buses early never even saw the war.
  20. I have a voucher book too. Have used the Spa 1877 one, 3 of us went with vouchers together on a weekday evening and had a wonderful time. Also Olive Bar were fantastic. Leopold hotel were great. Unfortunately the Lounge voucher is unuseable as it has changed ownership, unfortunately my husband and I walked all the way from Nether Edge to Glossop road to get lunch to find it closed. Also Bar 360 refused our voucher on the grounds that it wasnt between 5 and 6pm on the saturday night we wished to redeem it. As I dont generally go out drinking that early this will probably be of no use to me. Shame on you 360, lure em in then make em pay eh? As for aroma, my husband and I went for a meal there and ordered 2 main meals up to less than the voucher stated(2 main meals up to value of £30). Both being on the main meal menu as complete dishes. It was around 26 poundsworth, covered by the voucher as stated. We ordered extra sundries. 2 naans(ill round it up to £4.00) 1 glass of juice (rounded up to £2) 1 pickle tray £2.50 and 2 poppadoms around 1.50 for both. This works out at the voucher and no more than a tenner to pay. We got charged £18 and when I questioned why, the staff member pointed out how much I had saved with the voucher and refused to change it. Also at the same place my friend went in and ordered only the main meals. No sundries at all. They brought out a pickle tray and poppadoms, without being asked to ( some curry houses do free of charge as a compliment to your meal) Then tried to charge for it, along with accompanying rice which was stated on the menu as part of the main dish! E.g chicken tikka.Served with rice and salad £11.50. Fortunately My mate has more arguing power than me and they backed down. Pretty shoddy really. Hope that they dont use these retailers in the next book.
  21. Takeaway at khushi is great. They do pizzas too. You can order online too at just eat but the pizza menu isnt on there for some reason. We had it delivered, took about 40 minutes for two curries, rice, naans and starters. No problems and they rang us when they arrived so we could be ready. Im yet to try eating in the restaurant, definitely going to soon though.
  22. Ordered some food from there last night and have to recommend it to people. I had lamb naihari, which had lamb on the bone so tender that the meat fell off in strips when you held it.Was probably the best curry I have ever had from a takeaway and I have had a LOT of takeaway curries! Im really impressed. Naans and rice dishes are good too. So pleased about this place. Also worth a mention is East and West across the road from the above. Im so happy that I can get some proper indian food. Ace.
  23. He has written 'everyones a winner, you cant go wrong.'
  24. A friend of mine got offered 30 quid for a car worth about £700.
  25. Try the bag stall just inside castle market.
