  2. I used to enjoy Muffin the Mule... Now I'm on a register.
  3. Thats why I always copy+paste from Notepad on my laptop on the passenger seat using MyPhoneExplorer whilst driving my 3.0 litre V6 Omega Elite. Idiots!
  4. Hi there. Does anyone know or can anyone recommend a local enginnering firm that undertakes one-off projects? I need to produce a jig to make dowel holes in wood. I use a shop bought one at the moment but I need one that is quicker to use as I make a lot of joints of this nature. TIA.
  5. Hello, My dad Barry Foster lived at Heeley (43 Forster Road). He was born in 1939 and later moved to Basegreen and Frecheville. He also went to Annes Road school and I can remember going for some Taggy's Ice Cream (a real treat) and I can also remember a shop called 'Frank Deans'. He used to belong to a Vellocette motorbike group. He's still going strong but doesn't ride a motorbike anymore!
  6. Regarding pic of courtyard, I'm not able to PM anyone or upload image so if you want to provide e-mail I'll happily oblige.
  7. Hi. I used to work at The Stonehouse in the mid to late 80's and have fond memories of it. I've got a postcard that shows the courtyard in all its 70's glory, streetlamps, stocks and some dodgy looking 70's students. If you'd like a scan of it then please contact me.
  8. Does anyone have any information regarding the Skelton Cutlery Works fire circa 1924. My great grandfather died in it and I am just starting to gather information. I'm afraid I don't know where the firm was located or any other details at present. Any information regarding the firm either before or after the fire would be appreciated.
