  1. Hi, Not sure what category this fits under... I'm looking for a local company who are able to engrave an unusual item with a logo and commemorative message.... it's a stainless steel digging spade! Can anyone make a recommendation? Some companies have said that they can't do laser-etching because of the shape of the object so I think I need a traditional 'trophy' engraver. Thanks! Katie
  2. Hi, I'm looking for someone to play squash with. I've been successful finding people on this forum before so hopefully will be again. I play at Shef Uni courts (its pay-as-you-go) at intermediate level. Ideally would like to play one evening a week, just for fun, as its a great way to stay fit during the dark Winter months! Happy to play women or men. Hope to hear from you soon, Katie
  3. Hi, I am looking for a Yoga class in the S11 area. I am a beginner with a persistant back problem that I think will be helped by Yoga. Does anyone know a class or teacher they can reccommend? Thanks, Katie
  4. The cover I got just did what it said on the tin, it was your standard holiday insurance in all truth. I can't really hold anyone responsible if I hurt myself doing a dangerous sport....
  5. Hi, I haven't got mine yet but previously have had one-off trip insurance with Dog Tag and STA - both will cover 'mountain sports' at a slightly higher price - can't remember prices exactly but neither times cost more than £40 for 2 weeks. Hope that helps?
  6. Hi, I'm travelling in a group of 6 on a mountain bike trip to Europe soon. We need to get from Sheffield to Stansted and I've phoned a few local private hire companies but because of of our luggage (a bike in a bag and a backpack each) I'm struggling to find a good deal. I found one company who have a trailer they could use but the smallest mini-bus they have is a 16-seater so we would be paying a lot for that. There are plenty of companies who could take us AND our bikes in the 16-seater but again, we would have to pay a lot more for the big bus. Ideally we need someone who has a smaller mini-bus/people carrier who also has a trailer. Its a strange question...but does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!! Katie

  8. Hi Peter, I haven't received an email from you, I'll pm you my email address again. Got a game sorted for tonight with someone else from the forum - i've been off sick though so i doubt i'll be up to much! thanks for your message, katie
  9. Hello, I posted a topic searching for squash partners a while back. I had a couple of nice offers but turned them down in favour of playing with a friend who is too busy to commit to anything. I also got a message from Dave on here. Hi Dave, I'm still up for playing! So - preferably playing at USport (Sheff uni courts, open til 10pm weekdays), I would like to play once a week. Nice and competitive but only for fun - just enough to make it a good work out and an alternative bit of training while its too dark to ride my bikes. I'm 23 and have been playing squash for several years on and off. Please get in touch if you're interested. two_wheeled_agent(at)yahoo(dot)co(dot)uk Thanks, Katie
  10. Hi, I fancy taking up squash again. I'd like to play one evening a week. I dont take it too seriously but like to play for fun at an energetic level. Anyone interested? Happy to meet up with men or women though somebody at a similar level of fitness/experience as me would be good (ie. no men with national titles etc!) I'm keen to play regularly as I am a very keen cyclist who is looking to do some stop-start training and remind my body that it can do other things other than pedal....! PM me or reply to thread if interested. Oh yeah, I had a Shef Uni courts in mind as a venue. Cheers! Katie
  11. Hi, I am also currently looking for a squash partner, infact thats why i logged into the forum today. I used to play once a week, just for fun, competitively but friendly. I dont really want to join an expensive club but Sheffield Uni have some decent pay-as-you-go courts. PM me if interested. Katie
