Before this turns into some heated debate on Meersbrook allotments etc please read the original post. I am not against the fencing at all, in fact I dont even know where Meersbrook allotments are or Meersbrook for that matter ! I was asked by someone to post a message on here as they were wanting some information regarding the anti fencing campaign that was reported in The Star.

I read recently in The Star about a campaign by Meersbrook residents against a fencing scheme for the allotments there. Is there anyone on here invoved in this campaign or know of someone who is ?

Hi all I'd be interested in having the odd game or two. Havent played for a few years though.

Anyone got a computer projector that they would be willing to rent for a week ? We have an urgent presentation to give and the projector we have just ordered cannot be delivered until the end of the month.

My OH and I have a weekly argument about the rubbish bin. She insists its better to put it out the night before whilst I prefer to put it out in the morning. I admit to not having got up early enough and missed the collection a couple of times but all in all I think the benefits of not putting it out the night before outweighs this. Should I do what she says to make her happy or stick to my guns ?

If its a database driven site then there is a fair chance it was done via SQL injection on any input forms you may have. This is relatively easy to prevent, PM made if you want more details.

Anyone on here interested in trying telesales work ? I have a web project I am working on at the moment and need someone to work on this. It would be commision only initially (at a good rate) but we could review this after a while. Hours to suit yourself. Experience not essential ! Thanks

Call into the court or phone them to get a claim form. Fill it out and send a photocopy of it to the person/company you are wishing to claim against explaining that if the problem isnt sorted within 10 days then you will submit the claim form to the court. That usually does the trick. If it doesnt then, take the completed form to the court to file it. Cost depends on how much you are claimining. I think its around £120 for up to £3000 but not sure about that.

Sorry to hear about your mum Helibish Unfortunately the "do gooders" do tend to have to loudest voice in all areas of our society. This is why our government panders to them all of the time. The do gooders are always quick to critise but rarely come up with solutions. I often wonder when these people are going to open their eyes and see what going off around them.

Pay your bill less the £4.50 and then when they contact you to ask why tell them. I have done this. I dont see why I should be penalised by not paying by DD.

It also says ....... 51: You should * ride in single file on narrow or busy roads why dont cyclists do this on their way out to the Peak district on the A57 for example ? This is a very busy road

Bit off thread but have to agree here, Sheffield drivers are appalling. I think its to do with getting so frustrated with the gridlock when they see an open bit of road that have to get up to 50 mph+ as fast as possible regardless of their own or anyone elses safety.
